I don't know if this can be linked to anything directly, but it just seems odd given the current economic circumstances and predictions about martial law.

They must not be expecting a very big riot.The number of items is very small for any thing major.

Wow, must be 25 or so hard-asses going to enforce martial law. As was previously posted, check the quanities.

Also, the military has had riot gear for quite a few years now.

Quantities like 50 don't really scare me. Where did you get this info. These bids usually come from a GAO. I have one and the wording and format don't jive with what I am accustomed to.

Maybe for the Mexican drug problems at our borders. There are big issues developing there and it looks like it's coming into the US
