Anything Obama says, does or signs into motion will be null and void until his official Birth Certificate is provided.

This soldier is both a Patriot and a true American

The people of this country need to stop trying to divide and start to get behind our newly elected president. This country is in one hell of a mess. This issue is minor compared to what this country is facing. This is exactly the problem we have with our two party system. Conservatives and liberals bicker and try to find things to derail each others agenda. It's like being in a dysfunctional family that argues all the time and can't agree on anything. It's time we swallow our pride and a party loyalties and start seeing things in a new light. We're all on the same team here! We're all fighting to stay afloat. It saddens me to see that working class people who are the back bone of this country, are having their tax dolloars go to the same corporations who are ready to lay them off. Nobody has all the answers, so give the guy a chance.

I love this nonsense. First to the soldier, bravo! Your job is to protect the nation from enemies foreign and domestic. If it turns out that the president is ineligible to serve because of citizenship then you have saved us! If it turns out he is eligible to serve because he is a citizen then you have earned a carton of cigarettes per week from me to be sent to the commissary account to the prison of your choice.

Having said that, to those who think the CIA checked out Obama, they sure did in the early eighties when they recruited him out of Occidental College and sent him to Pakistan to participate in the war against the Soviets.

Does that make him a natural born U.S. citizen? Not exactly, but hey Americans love to pretend. Too bad we can’t actually afford all those pretty houses and nice cars we bought that we pretend we can afford.

To those of you who think winning an election gives you dictatorial powers to silence dissent and opposition. Not yet! Keep trying one of these days it’s bound to pick up steam though since everyone is so busy pretending to be something or be able to afford something.

To those of you who think the President of the United States is in fact the military’s Commander in Chief! Well, I think it’s best we don’t disturb your illusion especially while I still have swamp land in the everglades; I mean vacation properties available on the water for sale!

To the powers that be: touché, for once even I underestimated your brilliance. Yes its true the job of President has become so marginalized and controlled anyone can fill it and the American people can be convinced to put anyone in it.

To President Obama, may the sun always be at your face and the wind at your back and good fortune follow you everywhere.

If there was any meat it would have been found before the election. Who can honestly have any doubt that Cheney, Rove etc. x 10,000 would have found it and brought it out to get Palin in the White House? Even Ralph Nader would have found out and revealed it. With possibly several Supreme Court Nominees to select and approve you can bet your sweet donkey the Republican Party would want to be in office and they would have gotten to the bottom of this.

Maybe instead of being mad at Obama you should be mad at everyone that supposedly ran against him and it part of the conspiracy to hold this secret beyond death. I mean come on!

TheFBI, CIA, NSA, may very well know what his BC says moreover it may very well say he was born in Kenya but what makes you people think the FBI or any of them privy to this illegally gained information would then by releasing it, get themselves fired for looking into what they didn't have express permission to do in the first place. Then, on top of that make the very evidence having been illegally obtained not allowable in court. You people keep saying he doesn't have to show his vaulted BC yet forced an investigation to have McCain show HIS!

There is NOTHING on the Vaulted BC that is not already shown on the one he provided with Adobe Photoshop that can be used to steal his Identity as if anyone stupid enough thought they could. This argument that assumes "They"would have already looked into his Vaulted BC is curious when you consider the fact that NO ONE has come fourth and actually admitted seeing the Vaulted BC and said "Yes it said he was born in Hawaii."

All they have done is admit they have a VBC on record and THAT could have been from anywhere. This soldier has to follow the UCMJ which states he must follow lawfull orders and anyone saying he would get court martial may be correct but you are not the military in a tribunal you are NOT a judge and this guy wants to know if he is going to be put in war then he has every right to know if the President he is to obey isn't one who could have gotten where he is using the same technology most illegal aliens use to create a "certificate of live birth" to get a freakin drivers license.

I hope this haunts Obama till the day he shows us the Genuine Article. Then we will be able to blame the Obamanauts for being complicit in NOT ONLY the first President to outspend Bush his first month in office but the first one to attempt an inside coup to overthrow the Government by crushing the economy JUST LIKE HIM and Barney Frank were taught without a drop of blood spilled and right out of Obama's Favorite Authors Book the one written by Communist Saul Alinsky.

So to answer your suggestion, we should be angry at

those who chimed " yes we can "

and couldn't.

In a free society you would want your soldiers questioning the legality of orders or those in charge. If american soldiers were ordered to start rounding up and killing american citizens. I would hope and pray they would question the legality of it all....just a thought?

Obama campaigned on government transparency. If there is nothing to hide, I think he should lead by example, instead of asking people to follow on blind faith alone.

As for Obama's eligibility... he is the COMMANDER IN CHIEF, whether or not he is or was eligible, that is his current position and rank, therefore any orders he chooses to give, are followed. period.

If one follows a fraud, and lets a fraud lead them, they are FOOLS. That is stupidity, that is nothing more than a personality cult.

If he's ineligible. HE IS OUT. If this thing isn't solved, and he's holding on to information that MAKES him ineligible, HE SHOULD BE OUT.

It doesn't matter who is in the White House- if they lied to get there- O U T.

Is it an oath to the president or an oath to the constitution?

I don't personally believe there is any issue with Obama's citizenship. I would think this sort of thing would easily come out no matter if Obama wanted to keep his birth certificate a secret or not.

There is the saying that the military is not to question why but to DO IT NOW!!!. But, when the orders of your superiors are in serious question, you have the duty to challenge this with a group of your peers. For this man to refuse to respect an elected office is stupid but he should appeal to his senator. The guy will end up out of the military in notime.

Anyway, think about it, the secret service would have checked on his birth status. If he wasn't a citizen, he would have been dealt with a year ago.

Correction... you will approach it as null and void.

Congress however will not.

man i really don't know what to say about this situation.

Obama not showing his birth certificate or proof of citizenship means either he doesn't have one or he is not a citizen.

We can't deny that,

unless the Dems will eventually show it and say "HERE! YOU HAPPY NOW?" and make everyone seem stupid.

And then even if Obama does show his certificate some people will say it's forged. Then some specialist goes on TV to say that it's not forged and some people will say that the gov't paid the guy to say that.


Bam... never ending problem.

If his mother is a US citizen then by birth he is a US citizen.
Even if by some bizarre legal definition, it's determined that he hold dual citizenship, he made the choice to be an American. To me that says quite a bit about his loyalties.

As to the soldier in question, he deserves to be brought up on charges IMO.

Not only do Soldiers have a right to question orders, they have a DUTY to question orders. Any soldier knows that he can be held responsible for anything he does and it is his/her job to ensure that he/she only follows LEGAL orders. "A military order must have a military connection and must not contravene existing law, such as the Constitution, treaties, and statutes. An illegal order is just that - illegal, and does not require that it be obeyed. As the law either has no valid military purpose or contravenes existing law, obeying the order may expose the person to prosecution." en.allexperts.com...

As a soldier in the US Armed Forces have every RIGHT to challenge an unlawful order!!! peroid end so as long as you follow the proper channels and have it all swept away until after the act is completed!

You had to show a copy of your ORIGINAL birth cert in order to play hs sports? I'm guessing at most you had to produce a copy.

I played four years of high school sports, two different sports, and never had to show my birth cert. In fact, the only thing I have ever had to produce my birth certificate for was to get my passport.

No job has ever asked me to produce my birth certificate, and I have had quite a few of them. All of them have wanted me to show them my drivers license and social security card though, but I found that most of them really even didn't care about that so long as I said I had it and I gave them the numbers. Multiple times I did not have the documents on me when they wanted to copy them, and told them I would bring them later, never did...and they never mentioned it.

This soldier will face UCMJ.

It's pretty pointless for people to keep bringing this issue up. As someone stated earlier don't you think the Republican party would have brought something up? Wouldn't the Democrat party have said something before picking him to run? Nobody that means anything has said anything. Which means that the only way Obama could have pulled this off was if they were all working together and this was planned.

That being said, if everybody is in on this and it was really that important for Obama to prove citizenship couldn't Obama just get a birth certificate forged?

maybe still asleep. I was when bush was in office. i "woke up" near the end of his term, around late 2008, 3rd quarter.

As a former military member, you absolutely do NOT have authority to challenge ANY order. You HAVE to obey them, and complain afterwards if needed. This is how the U.S. millitary works. Even if you were right, you'd still be frowned upon by not following the order. Sounds ass backwards, but it's how the millitary is run. There in ZERO tollerance for disobeying orders, errant or otherwise. You can dislike the rules but it's still the same.

Having said that, I fully believe if Obama did not have and provide a proper birth certificate, he would not be president now. There were many rich, powerful and resourceful people who would of ate this up if there was any legitimacy to it. Bottom line is he is president, the 'proof' was obtained by thoes who needed it, and this tool questioning it should be court marshalled and sent packing for his ignorant, and most likely politically motivated slur's towards the commander and cheif of the USA.

Whereas a real American President would be the complete Opposite.

OMG, this is hoot.

Its unbelievable when you get some here crying about Obama not showing his birth certificate, or the fact you must show your BC to get a job etc. Yet 95% of folks use their short form birth certificate, and as another member said prior, the short form is a shorter copy of the long form. Why the hell do some here insist him to show the same confirmed birth certificate but includes "how he was born", his "weight at birth" and his fathers religion.

This soldier wants to protest against something he "thinks" is unconstitutional, where the hell was he during Iraq where there was actually something unconstitutional going on.
