Bureau of public debt: Future Generations of debt slaves

It has been reported that the only balanced budget in recent history was in 1835.

According to "Historical Debt Outstanding" in the years 1791 - 1849

In 1834, the debt, at it's lowest was $33,733.05.

Fast forward to the past decade through today, (2000-2008).

according to Historical Debt Outstanding - Annual 2000 - 2008,

we have doubled our public debt over the last decade.

Rep. Michael Burgess, Texas, 26th District speaks in Congress today submits that with TARP 1 &2, the Obama Stimulus package that rushed through although release of funds may not occur until summer, we are obligating future generations to a life of debt in unprecidented amounts.

I believe that all of this and the secrets we will never learn publicly all throw us closer to Global Meltdown.

Actually I think more secrets will come to surface. It is what usually happens when everything begins to fall apart.

Quite a bit has been revealed recently although we still don't yet know the whole story. I think we'll find out more as things continue to get worse.

That's just my opinion though.
