The ZombieCaust

I'm going to go ahead and post this one here so there's no hub-bub.

I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know some very interesting people in the year and a half or so that I've been in Korea. Some of the people that I call my friends are hell-bent on being ready for a "zombie caust." I started researching this and listening to what they were saying and I actually got ready too. These guys have go bags, rations and escape plans if such an event were to occur. I know it sounds crazy, but could it be possible?

What if the media covered up an outbreak - - or it happened somewhere were they control the media, so it started to spread like wildfire before anyone really knew?

This terrifies me. lol

1) How could it happen?

2) What could we do to ensure the survival of the human race?

3) Would it truly be walking corpses or would it be humans in some sort of highly deranged near-death state?

I don't know.
