Actually, I think the proper way to load a toilet paper roll is where the paper falls gently over the top.

Under is wrong because it not only touches the dirty wall, which makes it unsanitary, but it also breaks off so you end up with a bunch of shredded bits of paper rather then one nice smooth intact bunch.
