Good alternative topic movies?

What are some good alternative topic movies? Anything about aliens/ufo's. Or any other conspiracy's OTHER THAN POLITICS!!

I've seen the matrix trilogy and enjoyed it but I cant seem to think of any other good movies.. Help me out!

Eternal Sunshine was indeed a great movie.
But I thought the question was about alternative theory type movies. Although, that is a pretty general term.

These are all very good movies, not sure if they all fit into the 'alternative' category though.

Thanks a ton for the suggestions.Keep them comming. Im looking for a little more alternative than some of those suggested.. But none the less, I will be watching a few of these since some have caught my attention.

OP - try Bug, can second a scanner darkly & V for vendetta & i will try & post more later.

Also you can use IMDB web site to search for keywords in movie plots if you dont have much luck here. It has info on every film.
