Tehran Has Enough Fuel for Nuclear Bomb

Here's news that won't cheer Washington as it figures out how to deal with Iran: A UN agency says the nation now has enough uranium to build a nuclear bomb. In order to do so, Tehran would have to refine it further and kick out inspectors. But it reached this threshold of low-enriched uranium about a year earlier than expected, the Financial Times reports.

I was and still am against the war in Iraq. I did and still do think efforts should have been focused on Afghanistan.

However, I do not think Iran should be ignored. It is a country that is taunting us. The fact that any country has nukes is idiocy; the idea of us allowing more to make them is lunacy.

Iran is just bad news. If we hadn't gone to Iraq, if we weren't in a depression, I'd expect us to be in Iran and kicking some butt. But the circumstances are just not right. Here's hoping they don't do something stupid before we can stop them.
