All I can say is my God I am more democrat than republican.....

Always have been but an pretend choice they are both the same.

I have my only and first warns in years on ATS due to bashing Bush and his family, though I deserved it as I should of thought what I was posting.....

I was pleased that Bush's went and the neo cons are not there anymore.... But but....

Obama supporters stop this Cult of worship, Ive posted a couple of threads on Obama and got ripped to pieces by normally intelligent and balanced people who are totally emotionally involved with the Obama aura, its very worrying, all logical analysis has gone, and what is appearing is a situation not seen in modern world governance since the messianic status of Hitler.

People have lost their minds and have been brainwashed and I am finding the crazies of the democrats are as bad as the crazies who created PNAC.

Whats with the cult of personalities? if something is wrong it is wrong no matter who does it.

From what i can see on many topics its not

Change

Change

Change

but

Same

Same

Same

Still bombing foreign countries using pre emptive actions, had crooked (tax returns etc) people around him, same faces from the fed and Goldmans, same guys as clinton... just a new face and same master.

Kind Regards,

Elf.

Listen, I don't agree with the name calling that goes on with the more "extreme" Obama supporters. I may roll my eyes at it and laugh at it, but I would not resort to the name calling.

I don't see what some of his more extreme supporters see in him, but to each his/her own.

I will disagree with Obama and his supporters, but resorting to name calling just removes a lot of the credibility from the argument in my mind.

So during the election we all remember Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity talking about Obama's supporters as though they were zombies, and referring to Obama mockingly as "The Messiah," "The Chosen One," "The Annointed One," and i'm sure many more. I thought it was offensive then and I think it's offensive now.

So months after the election i'm still hearing Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and many more regular every-day people making fun NOT of Obama, but of the people who voted for Obama. That's not cool at all, and it really needs to stop.

This thread is why people pick on Obama followers. Upset because of what Limbaugh and Hannity say? Get real - thats they're job.

Your complaint can be compared to a conservative complaining about and wanting to silence someone like Bill Maher. They are pundits - its their job to make fun for our entertainment.

You may as well get over it or your feelings are going to be hurt alot. The dems sure aren't doing anything to paint themselves (or their followers) in a brighter light.

People are well within their rights to mock whatever clown that in office as well as his groupies. Doesn't matter if they're democrat, republican, or whatever, they aren't above getting mocked. Political cartoons have been around for ages, so making fun of the leader isn't new. Supporters always have mocked each other because that's just the way it has always been. I think most of the Obama supporters are idiotic sheep that have been sold with phrases and over-exposure by the media. Makes me think of those stupid infomercials, telling people they "got to have" this stupid gimmick for your household. Bush supporters are just as idiotic too, as are all the others.

I'm pretty much against all politicians and never plan to vote for any of them. Each of them only has one purpose, power. It's all power and control. They don't care how much they lie and exploit the people, as long as they get what they want and we are continued to be fed with their B.S. What does make a little worried about this topic though is that there seems to be a trend growing where you are silenced for your opinion. Example, if you are against Obama being in office, it is because you are a racist. If you don't like the current administrations way of handling things, then you are a racist and are against america! and so on.

This is something that has also started last administration, that this one is more than happy to continue. After 9/11, if you spoke against the war, president, or liked anything french, then you were Anti-American, a traitor, and a supporter of terrorists. It's time to get over the party wars, it's achieving nothing, and their game just continues as we keep letting them play it.

What a thoughtful, well-executed, original comment.

You're right, we should just keep doing things the way we are, because is the way things have always been done. That's a good way of forward thinking, and it's very constructive. Really helps resolve matters.

I'm convinced you guys aren't interested in resolving anything. You're content to sit back and make fun of people, and not really address anything in a productive way because you'd rather boo and hiss at your opposition than actually try and change their minds, bring them over to your side.

But that's cool. Since this thread was originally about pointing the finger, i'll be happy to lay the blame on those of you who have given up trying to change the way things are done.

I voted for Obama mainly because Ron Paul wasn't in the general election, McCain seemed rather predictable and I was hoping the "change" Obama would bring would end up being a change in our society and the way we treat eachother with respect to our corrupt politican system. Turns out nobody cares about changing how we hold our politicians accountable. We hate them if they're on the other side, and we make excuses for them when they're on our side. Nice work!

And, pointing fingers, placing blame, and whining about it does?

Yes, in fact to some of us here, think "venting" anger about this is a catharsis to some. Sort of like your complaining that complaining about it is silly. To them it is not silly.

I think many were thinking about who would be the people to blame and for many, blaming those who voted for Obama, makes sense www.abovetopsecret.com...

When Colin Powel said Obama would electrify the world stage, is when I said to myself "Oh my god, YOU might have Mr, Powel but NOT THIS GUY!" So far he hasn't electrified me, hell, he hasn't even got me to raise an eyebrow. He looks just like a rookie who keeps making things up as he goes saying the same talking points in every speech.

He is looking as pathetically like a rookie in any other job where the candidate wasn't qualified in the first place where a voter base of people used the prejudice of party to discriminate against ALL republicans.

Bush was a jerk, yeah we get that, but why would voting for another jerk be the ONLY alternative when it not only hurts Republicans, it hurts Democrats too.

I have said it all along the last thing we needed to do is have someone in office who is unknown, unqualified, inexperienced, untested but he INSPIRES!

I can tell you one thing. Not one of his followers can tell you any thing that he stands for except change. What the hell does that mean when you are the leader of the free world. His election depended on the ignorant vote and he got it. Any one that would vote for such an incompetent person as the leader of the free world has got to be ignorant. What are the changes that he proposes? Tell me what the hell they are. You can't tell me because you don't know but does he. He has alternative motives and it is not the American people. He has an agenda. Do you know what that agenda is? Of course not because he hasn't told you but he knows what it is, I can assure you that. This fool has already spent more money in the first 30 days of his administration than any administration in American history. Imagine the damage that he will pour on this country in four years. He can not stay in office for the full term. He must be impeached. The silent majority must stand up and fight against any thing that tries to accomplish. He is hell bent on finishing the task of bringing this country to it's knees. When this country is financially broken then you will finally find out what his agenda is and I can assure that you are not going to like it either...Do what you have always done. Sit on you dead liberal ass and just watch it happen. I am tired of people hating this country and still continuing to live here... Get over yourself and think about and do something for this country instead of sitting around waiting for it to do some thing for you...sabre11004...

Ahem! I will never be told by anyone what I can and can't say about how I feel and as long as I feel that the reason this stupid man is in office is because of a bunch of stupid voters than it is the voters I blame and I am sorry to say but you will have no pardon from me. BTW I never voted for either candidate because they are both worthless people.

I believe this was designed for an Obama win and like that other guy put it, that win depended on the ignorant and like they say, ignorance isn't a good enough excuse. I'd suggest buying a thicker flame shield because this time around we got the flame throwers.

I'm a Republican...but let's face it, Republicans aren't Republicans anymore. Democrats aren't Democrats either, they seem to be more socialist. The Republicans filling the role of the old Democrats. This country politically is shifting left at a fast rate.

In all fairness to Obama supporters I like Obama more than Bush any day. But, that isn't saying much about the policies either one had. I like Obama's attempt at openness. I didn't like Bush for his close mindedness. Obama came to change Washington, with a crew of old politicians. Policy between Bush and Obama has changed little. Obama uses the same phrases as Bush used concerning the terror threats against the USA. I feel though Obama doesn't believe it though. This gives me some hope, but also makes me think maybe someone else is actually pulling the strings.

Obama spoke that he "rejected small government" as an ideology, yet he was the agent of change. Maybe he doesn't realize that 24 States are all demanding the federal government to follow the constitution and limit the role of government. Obama stated that Deregulation got us into the economic mess, and that is so far from the truth. The economic mess was because of years of spending, doubling the size of government, and carrying out two wars, while introducing federally backed loans to banks to get low income people into houses. Think about it this way. If we had no debt, we could print 9 trillion without thinking about it and be in the same boat we are in at present. But, since we are so deep in debt already printing 9 trillion on top of the 11 trillion debt would bankrupt us.

So in closing...until Obama starts reducing spending to offset the bailout, then we will continually be in the mess we are in. Obama is right "The party is over." We have spent ourselves into debt and are going to suffer a lot.

FYI I voted Democrat in 2006 helping fill the house and senate with Democrats. The promise they gave was to start impeachment on BUSH. You see how fast they kept to that agreement, while rubber-stamping everything BUSH wanted.

I don't trust either party anymore. None stick to their principles.

I just can't believe what I'm reading here...
This is ATS, right?
Above Top Secret, right?
A conspiracy-website, right?
The site where readers and writers "know whats going on", right?

Let me express what I think:
Everyone who thinks Obama was elected even though 80% of america is White is ST*PID!!
Everyone who thinks that Obama is NOT a marionette of the Elite is ST*PID!!!
Everyone who thinks that Obama is against the Elite and is trying to weaken them is F*CKING ST*PID!!
Everyone who thinks that McCain and Palin got their positions by beeing the goons they were on the campaign is ST*PID!!!
Everyone who thinks that this farce of campaign and election was real is ST*PID!

YOU LACK THE ABILITY TO THINK!!

I always want to be polite but this outrageous stupidity ANGERS ME!
To all the Obama-lovers on this site:
YOU ARE ST*PID!
YOU ARE NOT WORTHY OF THE TITLE "Conspiracy theorist"!!
GO HOME AND "HOPE" THAT THINGS WILL "CHANGE"!!!

MY GOD!
Remeber what you have supposeldy "lerned" here and think about it again!

And then threads like this here where some SHEEP (YES, YOU ARE A SHEEP) wants the others to stop mocking his SHEPARD are recognized as what they are...THE PINNACLE OF STUPIDITY!!!!

Yes, pointing fingers and placing blame does help to resolve the issue. It shines a spotlight on the situation. In the case of the last administration, placing blame was hugely responsible for the Democrats gaining control of the Senate, House and Presidency.

trashing obama & his bollotics is ok with me

trashing obama supporters is also ok with me

trashing people the moan about abama being trashed is fine with me

if you are willing to tell the world about your bollotics, then in my mind you are now open for bolitical trashings, so yeah you can blame any one for trashing abama supporters, & for doing so you get trashed in return, rightfully so

iether get used to bolotics being exactly that bollix & try to understand bolotics is nothing less than a sh-t throwing match.
abama is a sh-t thrower & he him self is also covered in sh-t thrown by anti abama sh-t throwers, & you blame other people for throwing sh-t ?, get real, blaming people for throwing sh-t is in it self sh-t throwing, & in return you deserve to have sh-t thrown at you

Come on stop crying about people giving you some ribbing about how you voted for #$%#@ because of whatever reason. DEAL with it, be a grownup and handle it like an adult. Look Obama was very smart about getting into office (I am not going to say he stole the election because lets face it all politcians say one thing to get into office and do another thing once in office). He used words that make people feel good about voting for him even though he lacked experience and weak policies. Come one he used two of the most open ended, vague words in the dictionary...CHANGE....HOPE....

I agree with every one of your points because, as I stated several times previous to this post, I completely support bashing the politician. I don't support belittling those who voted for the politician. It's not productive and it only breeds animosity, which creates rifts in relationships, adding distance, alienating neighbor from neighbor.

I support bashing the politician too. I also realize that those politicians are only in office because of the people that voted for them.. so.. I support bashing voters as well.

I will bash socialist BO for his stimulus package the same way I bashed socialist Bush for his own stimulus package and Patriot Act (among many other things).

I don't care if I'm the last one left that hasn't accepted the USSA, I will still bash EVERYONE else for accepting it.

Both parties have moved away from our Constitution, so.. they will both feel my wrath
equally. Thank God we don't live in a democracy or 50% + 1 could take away my right to flame if they wanted to.

And forget that load of dung about supporting the president because he's the president.. if he is raping my rights, to hell with him..

/end rant

Once again, everyone, thanks for your input. I'll try to answer some of the points as best I can, now that i'm more or less finished with this thread:

1. I voted for Obama because I felt he had the best chance of waking up the American populace. I'm not talking about the "change" mantra the way Obama supporters are. I was hoping his policies would be as bad as the conservatives have been screaming bloody murder over, so bad in fact that people would wake up and put it to a stop; not for this administration but for every administration that follows. I appreciate that Obama wants to hold everyone accountable, but he's a politician. WE need to hold them accountable.

Hm. I've actually lost interest already. How odd, I had planned to say more. I'm happy at least to know that nothing is going to change. Everyone thinks it's cool to not treat your neighbors and your peers with respect and I guess in some twisted world that may actually help further agenda's, but not in this United States of America.

Judging from the responses here, we can expect to see a social civil war in the next decade I would say. "No coloreds" was once a very offensive sign, and I wouldn't be surprised to see "No liberals" or "no conservatives" signs popping up here and there in the near future. Thanks for helping to destroy America!

Okey, I know this is putting it very simply. But it was fine for people to mock President Bush and his supporters. That was treating your neighbors and peers with respect? But if we mock Saint obama and his supporters that's disrespectful and we're destroying America? Kind of a double standard don't you think?
