just because of that outburst...
they're going to pepper us continually with the rant...
so that viewers will tune in to see if he once again goes semi-ballistic


in the market the Volitality factor is called 'Beta'...
watch as the other talking-heads on the team get jocular about
Ricks' 'Beta' (i.e.; volatility) or 'manic personality'


then when the interest fades.... ole Bob Pisani, the only other person i like on that TV team, will get the lead position once again since he's more 'professional' in the eyes of the Brass

Some great posting guys, welcome fibre and thank you for your awesome posts. I see you may still have hopes for Obama. From what I have gathered he is just another Council on Foreign Relations puppet, he will do as he is told.

All you American ATSers out there I wish you all the best. Continue to create awareness amongst your friends, families and communities. People are definitely waking up to this nightmare and the momentum must be harnessed so you can raise the juggernaut that is the masses and crush the manipulative inbred scum that have taken hold of the reigns of our only planet.

just a dumb question to ponder on....

10+ million homes in risk of foreclosure....
10+ million families losing their homes, out hunting down rental units while their homes sit boarded up and neglected like the one next door to us has been for about 6 months or so....

do we have 10+ million apartments and rental units for them to move into while the banks get their acts together, try to figure out who really owns these houses, and get through all the legal crap to get it back on the market??

or is this why at least one state has clamped down on the homeless that have made the shelters their homes....they know they will need to make room for a few hundred thousand more families real soon?

we've sent an outrageous amount to the banks, and the credit is still frozen...
we've probably put close to a trillion into this problem....
and...
much of this problem could have been avoided if they had just redefined the terms of these loans to begin with, and well, those who couldn't survive even with the new terms, had been allowed to fall, and that includes the big banks!!!

but no.....it's socialism to help the little guys!!!
so now we are talking about the government taking over the big banks!!!!

and....of course....that isn't socialism in many people's eyes, that's salvation!!! ya, maybe their stock portfolios will perk up just long enough for them to dump them and make at least a modest return before the house of cards falls...

I would like to remind everyone now...
it was that grand old republican BUSH....that set us on this wild socialist ride of bailouts!!
if we shouldn't do anything to help those in foreclosure, then we shouldn't be buying those toxic assetts off the banks balance sheets, we shouldn't be buying their stocks in the early morning hours (get up early most mornings and watch the danged dow average!! someone with lots of money is propping the thing up...and I'd be willing to bet it's our taxpayer's dollars doing the propping!), our dollars shouldn't be going to save the big banks!!

we all are gonna be paying for our homes seven fold or more by the time it's all said and done! or at least most of us will be....
I am sure some will be walking away millions of dollars richer!@
and well, some like me, will have hit rock bottom for the last time and just start heading south, or north, till we leave the US border, and well....
let someone else pay for this fine mess....

till the credit unfreezes, even the most worthy who found themselves in the subprime trap ain't gonna be able to get out, and after foreclosure, ain't no one gonna be move in, unless of course they have the cash set aside to buy it outright! that's gonna leave a whole mess of houses empty, and a whole lot of people out in the cold because........We won't have an empty house or apartment for them to rent!!!

and yet....
helping those people stay in the homes is a moral risk??

all was fine and dandy as long as the economic engine was churning along and the value of your home and the stocks were rising!! who cared then that it was all fake? there were many on this board back then who were trying to tell us all that things just weren't right. they were shot down, labeled terrorists, anti american, lazy, whatever!!!

WE AMERICANS NOW NEED TO FIND SOME MORAL INTEGRITY WITHIN OURSELVES!!

there's no more morality to be at risk!

He was the first person to state what everyone else is thinking, out loud, and on the TV. He deserves some credit. This is not because he scared anyone. He simply stated what everyone wanted/needed to hear.

Even in countries like Sweden and Canada you don't get something for nothing unless you are impoverished......there is nothing wrong with governement health care for all, free education for all, housing for all, equal opportunity is only a reality when all people are treated equally.
In a country where a very small percent of the people control a very large percent of the wealth.....how is that equal?

The US has probably been the most socialist country out there for decades now, most just haven't noticed, since the majority of their socialism is designed to create a few more rich men or make the rich men they already have richer. well, congratulations, they've made plenty rich this time around, but well, they've managed to blow the whole house of cards down in the process...
and yet...
they are still crying socialist when it comes to putting a roof over a needy person's head!!

People, as usual, have done nothing and it is too late now. They waited for corrupt and unethical leaders to save them. Our current system is out of our control so will live with the way of life we are given by these leaders. One can bet if a too many try to create a way to live outside that system they will be squashed. The law has been tilted to assure the system wins.

Most of the same leaders have been elected, over and over. That's why the situations is as it is. The bad business practices have been rewarded. And now people wonder why their money, in places like the market, is going away.

When the politicians start going broke, see how long it takes for them to fix it for themselves.
