Did it work? Not sure of the date this was shot. I haven't heard of any big police efforts but that is typical. When this guy get's back maybe he can go give Notre Dame its next half time speech.

Depending on how good the translator's American slang was, I'd guess that about 25% of what the soldier said could have been properly translated since most of it was slang and colloquialisms. "Pull your finger out of your ass. Man up." won't translate so well. It will probably come across as, " Keep your finger away from your rectal sphincter. Male in the upward direction."
