These are camel spiders, also known as false scorpions. They are common in desert areas, but I have never seen any that large. The photo shows two
of them stuck together, mating or fighting. They are non-poisonous, but can bite really hard. They are voracious predators of inscects and spiders,
i bet that one's this large probably also catch mice and lizards.
