What? Israeli small tactical fision grenades?

I've been away from the net for a while, and can't really explain why anyone hasn't commented on this yet. During the first week of the first wave of retalliation from Judah against the Palestinians living in Gaza, there were reports of a new kind of weapon used. Surgeants and medical personell reported about radioactivity on wounded and rumours were speard that Judah has develloped a new kind of fission weapon based on wolfram or tungsten, one of the most compact atoms we know of. Could anyone spread som light here?

There is mention of a new weapon in this youtube video clip from Russia Today. It's all pretty horrible. I can just pray that this is not true.

I dislike them(military and land grabbing aspects) and their treatment and testing on civilians disgusting.

HOWEVER this is NOT a FISSION/FUSION weapon period.

It is a DIME

or Dense Inert Metal Implosion weapon.

In fact the reason for the horrific injuries suffered, and type of materials found on the bodies of those killed or maimed, and the burns is due to the nature of it.

The whole idea is to limit the fireball/explosion to a very very small area, all the energy is localised by using things such as magnesium, so that when a Car is taken out in a built up area like Gaza, the fireball/explosion is limited to just the car!

There are reports of this weapon being used and everything within the Car being wiped out totally, but the doors being still closed, all windows gone etc, and people only a few feet away having ruptured ear drums etc, but not being seriously injured/killed as is the norm with a missile.

It is high tech ability to target very limited areas in built up and civilian areas without more dead, by limiting shrapnel.

However for those who are within the blast radius the effects are truly horrific, it shreds, burns, and melts them and is nearly entirely fatal even if not immediately.

IT is NOT a FISSION / FUSION weapon!

Its DIME (Dense Inert Metal Explosive) Bombs, nothing to do with fission.
The "dense, inert metal" is tungsten, and casualties that get hit by the "dustwave" may show symptoms not unlike radioactive poisoning, e.g. a higher chance of developing cancer.
Additional information

As the previous posters noted it's DIME, the radioactivity is most likely DU, a perfect candidate for use as the dense inert metal, as it's very dense and a relatively cheap by-product of an ongoing nuclear weapons programme.
