The Media and oil prices

Look at this video about gas prices presented by ABC,

Why gas prices rise, while oil prices plummet

and I realized there is not one mention of inflation or increase pump taxes. Not one mention. Instead what do you hear about? Oil company profits. I mean wow. Talk about deflection of a real issue by the media. What better way to keep the people complacent with the government and their mismanagement of the economy, and grow angrier with anyone who made a buck from consumers. Oil companies keep between 6 and 10 cents per dollar spent on gas. The Feds make much more money than the oil companies per gallon of gas, around 18 cents.
