military Recall Program for Rated Officers!!!!!!!!!

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFRNS) -- The rapid expansion of unmanned aircraft systems and other emerging missions and rated officer requirements has created an Air Force demand for experienced, rated officers. To meet these critical shortages, the secretary of the Air Force has initiated a Voluntary Retired Rated Recall Program.

What is going on folk's?

Are we about to go into major war here?
i got no idea ...but recall's are a bad sign i would assume.

Whenever the military has a shortage in a particular job, they open the job to retirees who may want to come back for awhile to help.

I was an aircraft commander in airlift, and there is no way they would take me back. I had a perfect record and graduated from the US Air Force Academy, but if you are not retired, they will not reinstate you for this recall.

Don't worry, it's not an additional war or escalation.

Man, there are a lot of worry freaks on this website.

Obama did say he would sent US troops into Pakistan, which will start a war, considering the majority of Pakistani's hate America and consider the Taliban and UBL to be heroes.

I would imagine this would have something to do with the extra 10 thousand troupes to Afghanistan.

Nothing to worry about.
