I'm just going to reply to you then well keep it on topic I'll try to use the stock market for examples.

i like to say often that utopia is the only realistic objective DD. Any other plan will fail.

I'm going to have to disagree, we are all different, we all think differently, so striving to an Utopia will only lead to what we have now, which is trying to please everybody. There is no way to do that.

"there is no human nature, there is only human behaviour"

I disagree here too. We are a part of nature. We are only a very advanced society of intelligent animals. We are apart of the food chain and natural order of things.

and this human behavior can be highly and easily conditionned and manipulated.

Some people can, but that doesn't hold true in all accounts. Not everybody can be manipulated either. For that statement to hold true then everybody could be hypnotized, which know is that the case. We are all individuals and thus have different thought processes and patterns.

Now to put this all into perspective, lets take the stock market. One guy invests in one company, loses his butt on it and decides that it his game, and turns around and doesn't look back.

Another guy invests loses and instead he picks a different company and loses again. He quits.

Another guy the same thing except he keeps repeating over and over until he finds one that pays.

Ehh, bad example but I think you get what I'm trying to say.

I don't really like movies like the zeitgeist because it is only one persons idea of what life is. It actually promotes somebody else's Utpoia vision.

I'm a realist. You can try and train and brainwash people all you want but a good bit of people are not going to be able to be brainwashed because we are all wired differently and that is where nature kicks in.

Some people are followers, or leaders, some are fighters and runners. Eventually people wake up when things aren't as they seem. It is usually above average intelligence people that do.

So yes there is a such thing as Human Nature. to say there isn't is equivlent to saying that there is only animal behavior.

Ok lets keep this on topic.

ideas have their own existence
they don't belong to people : love is not somebody else's vision (people that get the philosophy of zeitgeist didn't wait to see it to get to go through this thinking)
love is love, absolute and eternal, and the axis of an utopic system

Now the axis is money, the market, this thread.

We are not commenting on realities, but just the show proposed by the matrix, trying to figure out the how and why of spectacular events.
Those are conditioned by the state of society : reserve rate, insane IMS, psychopathic actions of the corporations...(you were looking for "someone's else ideas" coming from someone mind?) and this conditions were imposed by some (not so many really) few greedy, psychopathic and sick men with way too much power.

This state of thing is the result of the sickness of a few that took advantage using deprivation of knowledge and consciousness to increase the psychic weakness of the most.
This is not the result of human nature to be a sheep.

human nature is about love, consciousness and the ability to raise spiritually. And that is what makes the difference with animals.
capitalism is strictly an animal thing and has nothing to do with human nature

I'm a realist.

i believe billions in this world (from south countries villages from the countryside to begin with) won't understand your perception of reality.
still they will pretend to be realist too.

as DD was also saying, the point is to place yourself above to observe society, then you can see what is real, what is conditions. What relies on perception, what is the same any where any when.

what is condition can be changed, (all that is "someone's else idea" coming from someone mind): the reserve rate to create money, the power to create money owned by a few, the way we calculate profit, the way we trace borders... it's all and only in our minds. and we can be enslave by him (ego&intellect) and the food he is being given continuously or we can be his master and become a free man.

what is real cannot be changed.

I'm going to say no. I would say the people in small villages know what the deal is. They have governments too, in fact they usually have very restrictive governments.

ideas have their own existence they don't belong to people : love is not somebody else's vision (people that get the philosophy of zeitgeist didn't wait to see it to get to go through this thinking) love is love, absolute and eternal, and the axis of an utopic system

People have different views of what love is. People are different, people have different cultures and customs. People come from different backgrounds, and up bringing's.

Now the axis is money, the market, this thread.

There are different axis's for different people. There are people like me that just want to be free and is happy with what they have. People are different and there for have different axis's that drive them. You have weak and strong people, leaders and followers.

An axis's is a center point of which something revolves around. Some people are incapable of loving. Some people get off on misery and destruction.

what is real cannot be changed.

There has always been a power structure. Indian Tribes, Nomads, Gypsy's, they all look to either one or a few people to lead. Sometimes you have people that go off on their own, live by themselves.

Life is real. Love is real. Leaders and followers are real. Motivation is real. Death is real. Manipulation and deceit is real. War is real. Bartering is real Economics is real. Desire is real. Greed is real. Selflessness is real. Selfishness is real. Pain is real. Joy is real. Truth is real. Lie's are real. Anger is real. Depression is real.

There are lots of other things that are real. Love is not the only emotion not everybody is centered around love. There are people that cheat on their spouses and girlfriends and boyfriends. They say they love them but yet they hurt them they don't know why they just do.

Everybody is different, that is reality. There are mental conditions that people are born with that can not be changed.

Emotions can not be changed, they can only be controlled and manipulated.

It is life and life is not fair. All those things I have mentioned have been going on since the beginning of time since the beginning of humanity. That is truth. There are always people that will try to take advantage of other people.

To see people hurt and down and out it is their axis. Even if we are not conscious, and actually in a situation like the in the Movie the Matrix, if we were to all wake up the same things will happen.

We as humans are programmed to survive, in order to do that we need food and water. That is the basics. Everything else just makes life easier.

People will kill for food and water, in the end it all comes down to two things Survival and Procreation. Those are the two basic tenets of life. Everything else beyond that is what YOU make it not what somebody else makes it for you.

In the end it is all about you. The individual.

Hmm, time for a new thread perhaps???

But the discussion is fascinating. I think you both agree more than you realize but finding the proper words to express your thoughts is the challenge

anywhooo...

I'd like to invite you visit the New Thread I just posted. A very different topic that spwans from an EXCELLENT blog post from someone on my trader forums

What you learn there may really infuriate you, but like Hastobe said before, knowledge is power

I will now step down and stop shilling my thread

idealism is a reflexion of the state of society it is higly dependent on conditions

utopia will remain the same idea whatever the context.

and utopic ideas will fail whenever they try to adapt to the context. I go with zeitgeist : we don't need money (just some dedicated and educated individuals to set tup the machines to create a work free society - let us not forget that even in this #ty capitalist society there are still people that work for the love it - the rest is working for survival or doesn't even know why - the conditionned middle-class ie the sheeple)

(ok I stop now the politic thinking soorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry)

Money IS the idea!
I am saying: ideas use us as a fuel to perpetuate themselves (ideas and emotions are projections, and so is will - there is no will without projection).

So, go to the forest, find a nice tree, sit there and meditate (empty your mind).

When you learn to do that, you can live your life free of all that crap.

There is no other way to understand ethics.

Because whenever you try to impose an idea or emotion on others, the result is violence.

Knowledge is death, it is a true statement, no matter how strange it sounds.

I agree. This thread is exhausted, simply because there is no more input the kind of which initiated this thread.

But we can continue the discussion on the ideas on another thread.

nice talking with you guys

"There is no other way to understand ethics. "

Seva (sanskrit word=service=non egoistic action=you do something for somebody in need, with no expectation whatsoever to get anything in return) is a very powerful heart/soul purifier. experience it everyday. in the long run you might find out that you are actually getting back so much more that you had given...

[meditation is nothing like the only way, but more like just one step along the path

Fascinating articles...nice to keep this thread on topic. We will see if the worldwide crash is averted. Maybe not...

BERLIN: The leaders of Germany, Britain, France and other European nations called Sunday for the resources of the International Monetary Fund to double, to $500 billion, to help head off new problems in countries already hit hard by the global economic and financial crisis.

I saw that also...not looking real good is it?

Eyeing a contagion that is rapidly spreading to eastern Europe and even countries that use the euro, the leaders highlighted the crisis-prevention role of the IMF, an institution whose relevance to the current global economy seemed in doubt only a few years ago.

You guys who have more experience. Is it really about money or is it something else?

There has to be some serious restructuring of the way of life?
The paradigm change?
Maybe it is hinted here: Hilary Clinton telling the Chinese that doing business with them is more important than civil rights. So the Chinese can crack down on Tibetans.

This is a serious breach of Primary Directive, isn't it?

This alone is going to be reflected heavily on the rest of the world, a shift of proclaimed values, a shift to a different political system.

Hilary also ranted in S. Korea about how much she loves her husband... Hilarious.

This is really desperate. It is also very socialist. Better that than dumping surplus goods.
But, it is a relatively small action, or maybe just experimental?

The advantage of handing out spending vouchers, rather than cash, is that it won't add to money supply and stoke inflation, he had said.

a spending voucher is quasi-money, especially if it s created out of thin air ( just like the dollars by the way). So they create money and inflation all the same. The effect is the same on the economy.
