End of the European Union... please please please!

IMO they'll call for even a bigger thing... a world government... this is all planned.

IMO DIJA is gonna go down again today.

We could make an ATS pool where we chose the next country to go bankrupt...or the next big US bank.

At least we could make fun out of this whole disaster.

I think they actually halted trading in Russia after their market fell 9%.

Didn't seem to make the wider news, I've noticed the main stream media, here in Australia at least, keeps telling people everything is rosey, we're well placed, yadda yadda, the government spending money we don't have will save us all.

Then again, I've heard the usual ATS doom predictions all the time too.

However... The situation certainly hasn't gotten any better!

*snip* the global dow looks interesting:

More great News from not so Great Britain isn't helping our cause on this side of the pond:

uk.biz.yahoo.com...

Whilst in the EU:

uk.biz.yahoo.com...

Looking very shakey. I believe that this is a bit like an iceberg - People thought they could see the whole problem when this started but they were only seeing the 1/8th above the surface - we're only just starting to see the other 7/8ths of what's lurking beneath.

The funniest thing here in the UK was when the idiot economists working with the government came out with their solution:

"We're going to borrow our way out of debt." !!!! - I kid you not, this was the official answer to how to solve the problem of too much debt - borrow more.

I can only assume that these people lock themselves away from the World for a couple of weeks, and in a state of stir crazy induced psychosis they acually start to believe in the fantasies that they dream up for the proles.

Funnily the site I use for looking at gold prices won't load - I guess it's crashed under the volume of visitors trying to get the latest prices!

Never mind, I can always visit my own site: www.scrapgold.org.uk... for the prices in GBP, although I'm not sure if that has updated recently - I just took a feed from one of the other sites so maybe it's frozen?

LOL I think the official sounding way to say it is "negative vertical growth" lol

I think we should start talking about financials in terms of half life lol

exponential decay for the win!
