Blair wins $1m leadership prize

news.bbc.co.uk

Former prime minister Tony Blair has won $1m (£697,000) for his leadership on the world stage.

Mr Blair, now a Middle East envoy, will receive the Dan David Prize at Tel Aviv University in Israel in May.

It marks his "foresight", "exceptional intelligence" and "steadfast determination" to end conflicts.

Mr Blair's spokesman said the money would be donated to the former Labour leader's recently set up charity for religious understanding.

Leadership??

He's just a front man, a puppet.

And just who has coughed up this amount of money as a 'prize' for someone who was partly responsible for the conflicts that blight the worlds stage at this current time.

Pure hypocrisy to suggest he is now some form of 'master' at ending conflict.

How can anyone be paid a bonus such as this with the current trend in the financial markets and the outrage at bank bosses getting huge bonusses?

I'm sorry, but what charity? Never heard of it.. sounds completely pointless. Who's pocket(s) will the money line once it is in the bank accounts of said charity anyway?

Again, another farce from the corrupt PTB and yet another attempt to blind us with wonders and deeds of courage and bravery glossed over with the fake prize of fake glory and riches
