The fireball that streaked across the Texas sky on Sunday could be turning into a true "X Files" mystery.
The FAA says the fireball, accompanied by a sonic boom, was probably a piece of space debris, which officials think may have come from a collision that destroyed two satellites last week.
But the U.S. Strategic Command said there was no connection to the sightings over Texas and Tuesday's collision of satellites from the U.S. and Russia.
