I just look for the people who hang around you like flies on poop, every time you post something really significant.

Some guys will hang around and derail you, and they make fun of your posts, belittle you.

And they hang around. And they discredit your sources, even if you know they are valid.

You post a topic that really exposes something, they will be there.

Advanced ancient technology is a good one to post. See you don't have that handfull of people swarming around your post, just ripping you to shreds. There are some people who apparently don't want us to know these things.

This isn't 100% foolproof by any means, because some people are so "indoctrinated" into something, an idea, a belief, that they can't see outside of the box they are in, or maybe they refuse to look outside the box. So, they fight to invalidate your posts. They only see themselves as spreading truth, they don't "know" any better, or refuse to "know" any better.

It's only an indicator of what a dis-infrmation agent might do.

Troy

One really easy way to find them is to look at my foe list, it isn't 100% disinfo agents, but the majority of them that post here are on it. The others are just clueless dolts.

And you havent added me?

What the hell...ask lots of people, I am allegedly a disinfo agent, tsk tsk

Sweet, I am on his list. I wish the government would give me a raise though. They dont pay disinfo agents very well. I think I pulled in a whole $0 since I started posting here.
In all seriousness, I highly doubt there are any disinfo agents on here. Just because someone doesnt agree with you doesnt make them a disinfo agent. And so what if they are adament about their points. People who believe 9/11 is a conspiracy are more adament about making their point then any debunker I have ever seen. You are either ignorant, stupid, a sheep, a disinfo agent, cant see outside the box (see above post) the list goes on and on if you disagree. And for the person who claims that debunkers constantly use repetitive post, hell both sides do that over and over again. I frequently post in the 9/11 forums and have been called a disinfo agent, which I find quite hilarious. The reason I repeat some of the post is because I ask a legitament question that "truthers" refuse to answer or just simply ignore.

Just a Tad problem with that idea. IF you release a "theory" without the evidence. Who's going to believe you anyway? Wouldn't you be wasting time looking for disinfo agents who are really just people who disagree without the facts? :/

ex- disinfo agents admitting to such things certainly would seem suspicious to some people, wouldn't you agree ?

i am sure the goverment might want to use the UFO explanation to try and diffuse real sightings of above top secret black project crafts.

since you post in the UFO forum often...

are you sure your not just pulling everyone's leg here by saying you no longer are involved in this occupation ?

Hi Ahabstar,

I've seen your posts before

You do have a point that I have considered before but more so now.. I believe it often comes in the form of alternate CT's designed to rubbish the actual truth movement.
Some would say the no planer/nuke/DEW crowd could be coming from that angle but being such a broad assumption it's foolish to make, without considering all evidence at hand. I have seen compelling evidence for most arguments but to retain a level of reality would make the decision on what could be possible/correct much easier.
That is why I do not agree with the no planes anywhere/nuke/DEW crowd. Those theories alone do so much to make us look 'nuttier' than we are perceived by some, as they are so much further out there than the conventional explosive theory.

And some may say: does it matter with what method the alleged 'demolition' was done? The fact of the matter is 3 buildings fell and the govt CT does not adequately explain many things.

Thanks for your post!

Look at a suspected disinformant's Avatar, Signature (and obvious message).

I have been reading threads all day today, and when something seems like the truth, these strongly opposing figures pop in. Alot of their avatars feature negative images. One member who was talking on another thread about how flouride inhibits the pineal gland was accosted by a poster who's avatar said "Stop asking questions" (not to mention he disagreed, of course.

I see MOST of these suspected disinformants have the same thing going on. Their avatars are negative (And if you look closely, they give off a "bad" message of some sort), and their signatures have negative connotations. Some have Devils. Just look for yourselves and you tell me

The truth is stronger than the false. The false with not win. Trust me.

I think another good way to spot a possible disinformant is by their vehemence. I like that word. Check for vehemence and tenacity.

If I think something is not true, I may argue my point. If the person doesn't see it the way I do, I would just walk away or something. I wouldn't hound or demean the person!

Check out the 9/11 forums. Professional debunkers swarm there like moths to light, 24/7. Interesting how some people spend all their free time trying to debunk 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Oh man...and here I thought the stormtrooper looking all emo was an improvement. I liked how well adding the coffee mug looked like it was always there. Adding the coffee (it was empty) turned out so-so. The ATS logo looks like a deliberate add though. I did it freehand as resizing pixalated too much and opted not to blend it well because I liked how it looked standing out better. That and my letter proportions were off a bit to play the curve of the cup right.

Although I might change the comm-link on the table into a Blaster rifle if I can find a good one to work with. Or would that be too negative?

What a retarded OP.

So in other words, you prove your conclusion by way of your premise. In most logical circles, this is the fallacy of begging the question.

Because reason and logic are in dire shortages here on ATS, I'll go ahead and explain this along 4th grade levels (not that it will matter):

Your conclusion is that those who engage in such activities like simply not agreeing with you or coming in to repute your claims are actually disinfo agents. Yet your premise is that those who do the very same thing are disinfo agents. In other words, this is circular reasoning. Imagine a circle. Maybe drawn with a big red crayon. The circle is like a loopy kind of line that connects with itself.

See, you're not really saying anything here other than "anyone who disagrees with me must be a disinfo agent. Why? Because they disagree with me."

Epic fail. But then, I'm a disinfo agent, so what does it matter?

Quite frankly if i were an agent I wouldn't be doing any dis info stuff. What a waste of time.
First of all i would use my government powers allowed to me to infiltrate your IP address and then i would find out who you were. Then I would make you die in a convenient 'accident'.

Then again, I would use my government powers to take down this site...

Just put some kiddie porn on it and no one will complain... No one will stand up against that.

But the simple truth is, there's very little information on this site that worries anyone except the paranoid people that post.

Loved it, thank you very much. Excellent analogies used and should open some peoples eyes a little on both sides of a conspiracy or discussion.
Without a very skeptical friend I would not have had a differing method or way to construct a viewpoint on many issues. I would not have considered many arguments and things of conspiracy as fairly as I do now, taking both sides in from multiple sources and making a plan from there. Jeez I've even debunked a few ufo threads amongst other types, yet seen one mysefl! Go figure :p

I don't even see the need for disinfo agents anymore.

There are enough 'factions' inside each conspiracy theory anyway. Give them time and they'll tear themselves apart.

Look at the 9/11 theories. Demolitions vs Holograms vs Missiles vs Government Innocence.

They cannot come to a single, solid theory that covers all possible angles, thus the bickering continues and nobody takes them seriously.

Same with UFOlogy. Plenty of sane, science driven people behind it. But then you get the Dr Reeds and George Adamski's that just throw a spoke in the wheels and send the whole community back into freefall.

Disinfo agents are being done out of a job by the people they are paid to disrupt.

They are obsolete, IMO.

Mr Burns, you let me down. I liked reading your posts regarding Mars and Mars anomalies. Not that I always agreed with what you were saying but it seemed genuine and you always had a lot to say.

Now I look at your posts with two thoughts. "Crazy old man who thinks hes a disinfo agent" or "disinfo agent"

The thread seems a bit redundant also, I'm surprised a moderator started it. There is no way of proving if someone is an agent or not, so why fill ATS up with even more arguments that go nowhere.

Peace

Oh and skyfloating I believe the "method" you're looking for is "Socratic method".

Further...

Disinfo agents are actually the ones that started most of the conspiracies in the first place...

Aliens :keep people afraid - The American government learnt this in 1930's with Orson Welles's "War of the Worlds" Very cost effective way to keep people afraid. Started implimenting through Spielburg and co. in Early eighties and then through television in 90's (X files) Very effective methopd of disinformation.

9/11: To stop the truth from Iraq and the crimes of George Bush. Give people the delusion that the Government is actually smart and cohesively organized.

New World Order: Make people afraid that there is no god but that all strange occurrences are created by secret orders. Keep people controlled through fear. Keep people from the truth of overt capitalism. Stop people criticizing the problems of modern American democracy. Create a force against any opposing US economic force like the EU. To stop people from wanting a more democratic and egalitarian world. To garner American financial interests and economic power.

Dis info people love this stuff. They are the ones planting the seeds...

Welcome to mirrorview

There is an underlying point to the thread. Something most here have yet to hit the nail on the head yet.
