Passenger Missed Connection to Doomed Continental Flight 3407 That Killed 50

www.abcnews.go.com

Paul Twaragowski was initially annoyed when his flight from New Orleans, La., to Newark, N.J., was delayed -- it meant he would not be able to make his connecting flight home to Buffalo, N.Y. But when he arrived in Newark, the 23-year-old was surprised to see a deluge of missed phone calls and text messages on his phone. Some of the text messages simply read, "Paul?"

When he called a friend back, he got news that, he said, changed his life.

"He said, 'Paul, are you OK?' and I'm like, 'Yes, I'm at Newark, I'll be home in the morning. What's going on?'"

I am not one to believe in coincidence...not even the one step up serendipity "happy accident"

Was it this young mans destiny to miss the plane? Paul, a believer in "fate" says he is thankful and happy to be alive!

Call if fate, or destiny Paul Twaragowski's name was on that ticket and that ticket number, 3407. But he did not make it on the plane that was number 3407. Flight 3407 crashed in a Buffalo, New York neighborhood.

Whatever the reason...Paul Twaragowski is alive, happy and thankful!

Umm I wonder has he seen the movie, Final Destination?
This is a freaky thing.
The 1 guy on the ground took his place.
50 people died, he was meant to be one of them, but someone else took his place.

Wow!

Thanks,I hope all is good with thier family! If that had been my grandson, I could not wait to see his smiling face. I know that the tragedy is with all of those families that lost loved ones. My heart goes out to all of them. I just thought this story was wonderful, as this young man and his story has a happy ending!
