Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag


This is the movie that played at the IMAX in Las Vegas .. not some YouTube video. It's approx. 48 minutes long and of Very High quality. The sound is in stereo so put it to full screen, crank up the speakers and enjoy.

Some of the effects in the production are staged but are
outstanding as is the photography. The only thing it's missing is a whiff
of JP-4/7 but it doesn't take much imagination to smell it.

I know you aviation professionals and arm chair aces will all enjoy it, so
sit back and enjoy about 48 minutes of "Simulated Combat" from a pilot's
perspective.

I knew a guy that went to Red Flag. When he came back, he had me a Red Flag cap. He was going to bring me a copy of his gun camera footage, but when they reviewed it for release, it had something top secret on it and would not release it. I would have loved to get that tape.
