Here's something I found, some women love man on man rape! Most of these Yaoi(gay hentai) games are actually made for women more than men.

Okay, that sh!t out of the way, let me say first off that yaoi is effectively a fantasy genre. Homosexual relationships are generally nothing like what’s depicted in these manga and anime. One of the things that makes the genre unique is the fact that it is a female fantasy of male homosexuality.

That fact also makes it an object of some curiosity in the media, as you’ve no doubt noticed-- there are any number of articles that try to solve the mystery of why girls are so into boys on boys. But of course, there’s no single simple solution to the equation; there are just too many variables.

But the existence of rape and molestation is one variable that can’t simply be discounted. And, like the rest of the genre, rape in yaoi is also a fantasy-- a rape fantasy. And like any fantasy, it bears little or no resemblance to the reality.

Rape in yaoi is usually a result of extreme lust and/or love; the rapist commits the crime because he literally cannot stop himself from expressing said love or lust physically. Want evidence? How often have you seen a seme say something along the lines of “I’m at my limit,” which translates to “we either need to stop or I am going to # you silly?” I feel like I see it or something similar once every other series or so at least.

Additionally, the victim of this rape is usually converted at some point into a willing participant. Sometimes it happens mid-coitus when the physical pleasure kicks in; sometimes it happens later when an uke “realizes” that they actually enjoyed, wanted, and/or invited the sexual interaction.

So in yaoi, rape is usually a crime of passion, lust, love, etc. (Except when perpetrated by someone other than the main seme, in which case it is evil.) In reality, rape is an act of violence and hate, power and domination. Yaoi rape is fantasy.

Surveys say that 10 to 13%* of women regularly have fantasies that involve rape or force. And that’s just the women who admit to it. Now, there are those who foolishly think that a woman having rape fantasies means that she wants to be raped. This is obviously not the case. But is it so hard to imagine the appeals of a story in which one character is so incredibly loved and desired that his lover literally can’t help himself? Of course, that only covers women who identify with the uke, but it’s equally easy to see why a reader who identifies with a seme might some aspects, like perhaps the eventual turning/convincing/seduction of the uke.

So, there you have it: women have rape fantasies. As yet another form of fantasy/escapist manga, yaoi contains elements of rape, force, etc. And yet, people go nuts over why girls would like such a thing-- even while I researched this article, I found comments that talked about how only a crazy woman could have a rape fantasy, why would she want to be raped? The original version of this article was posted on TheOtaku.com, and if you look through the comments on that page here you’ll see similar responses.

I apologies if this gets lecture-y, but if you’re tempted to think that way…allow me to again state that having rape fantasies doesn’t mean a woman wants to be raped, nor have any studies shown that only crazy women have them or that there’s anything wrong with having them. Keep in mind that if 10-13% of women have rape fantasies, that’s close to the estimated number of homosexuals in the world. Not common, but hardly disturbingly deviant.
* 10% comes from Wikipedia, who seem to be citing David Knox's 1984 study "Human Sexuality: The Search for Understanding" (which also says that 36% of women say that they have had a rape fantasy). 13% comes from a study in Glenn Wilson’s book The Great Sex Divide.

Speaking as someone who is only 23 i'm not sure what you mean. Many of my age group play this game but would never hurt anyone. I don't much like GTA, never have but even so do you honestly expect the majority who play this game to suddenly get the idea that they should shoot cops in the face?

It's beginning to make me sad how people think these games have such influence over adult behavior. If you are a violent person you will do violent things, if not you won't unless provoked. That is how it has always been.

What do you expect? Do you think we should all go back to ball-in-a-cup? Don't get me wrong that was fun when i was 4 years old but video games were slightly more fun. So was going outside with friends and running round the woods playing army. Oh wait isn't playing army violent? I mean i'm pretending to shoot at my friends! Damn we're just awful! Yet this didn't influence me to ever actually shoot one of my friends.

Anyone who can't get by without their fix of Texas chain saw massacre or Friday 13th should not be allowed to leave their homes and anyone who defends these types of games is truly mentally disturbed.

What people don't seem to comprehend is that todays children spend far more time in front of their consoles or computers than previous generations and they now have access to games that are truly far more violent than anything that came before. In the future as technology improves & graphics become indistinguishable from reality, the situation will become even worse.

Parents are no longer around to look after their kids and even if they are, they seem to think it's ok for their kids to be playing games with a 18 certificate. Is it any wonder that children are becoming more violent if that's all they are learning. Just recently I read about a 6 year old boy trying to rape a girl of the same age in the playground. This type of behaviour was unheard of when I was that age, so people seriously need to get a handle on this, because the situation is becoming worse by the day.

I recently down loaded GTA4 demo to see what all the fuss was about. The game is nothing but violence and there is nothing in the game that is remotely entertaining apart from the graphics. The gameplay itself was nothing but violence & about as exciting as watching ice cream melt, so why this game got rave reviews is beyond me, as it's completely crap and is only for those people with low intellligence who don't like to think while they are playing games.

How is chess different? It was based on teaching young solider strategy for defeating enemies in real wars. It's still a form of simulation, just without as many graphics and more imagination. As for the "man up" bit, i don't quite follow, i don't play GTA, don't want to either it's a rubbish game. I tried it at a friends once and i never saw the point.

However when you say you get nothing from it i have to ask, should you get something from everything in life? You get fun by playing these games and surely that's enough to do something? Oh and no i'm not saying i think the rape game is fun, i'm just saying that for some sick reason someone does and it's protected by that little thing you and others here obviously don't appreciate anymore, freedom.

By the way check out some studies on video games. It has been found that kids who play them often have heightened reaction times and strategic thinking abilities. They are also better equipped to adapt to changing environments. Surely that's something to take from them? The rape game won't give you any of that of course i was just defending video games in general there.

I have to ask why you think it's a waste. What should they be doing instead? I think everyone has the freedom (that word again) to do what they want as long as they don't hurt someone else.

Are you serious on the last point or just baiting? Well in case you aren't i would say that many intelligent people like this stuff, it's a way to turn off and relax. Still i agree with you on GTA, just seems kind of pointless to me and isn't even that well made.

To me it's equally horrendous. Having males, females, or children being sexually assaulted in a game is disgusting. I used women as an example because although I kept hearing males could be the victims as well, everything I read depicted the women as the victims. But I think males being the victims is also terrible.

But what many people don't know about japanese gaming...is that they've been doing these kinds of games for years. Games like you trying to sleep with school girls and get down and dirty. Due to their cartoon porn (hentai- which its called) alot of games over there are geared towards adults and are strictly sex games.

This game that was removed just takes it a bit too far...but do some research and you will see Japan has been making games like this for years...

I would support that games existence. I would be horrified it existed, saddened, disgusted but i would support the freedom of people to play it. No one in the game is real, no harm is caused so i have no issue with it. It's the same as real life racism. That is also disgusting and one of my real personal hates and yet i support peoples freedoms to have those views. They're wrong but hey they're free to believe it.

Oh and you're talking to someone who wants all real life paedophiles to be jailed for life so try and reconcile that and realise why i am saying what i am saying.

Who here hasn't said it's sick? I'm sorry please point to the post claiming this game is great and someone loves it? I agree wholeheartedly Ashley that this is a completely and utterly disgusting creation and i honestly wish it didn't exist. Seriously i wish it didn't exist, but it does and so it is protected under the banner of freedom.

Oh and i never said Amazon shouldn't have the right to ban it, they are a private company and as such they can sell whichever products they wish.

I totally agree with what your saying. But I am not defending anything except freedom to draw whatever you want. It's a dilema in a way, but it's logical.

War, where people suffer beyond imagination, women get raped, destruction, death, non stop violence. YET people go watch movies about war, and enjoy themselves a lot, they LOVE it.

Doesn't that make us a hypocrite if you judge the women and men who play a rape game? While we happily play war games and watch war movies with a smile on our face.

I'm just looking at this from all angles. I guess the only way I can explain this is I'm looking at this from the outside, looking into a box. As if I'm not human, I keep my emotions away, I'm looking at humanity and freedom from another more logical perspective. Drawing pictures is not a crime.
