The new chief of US intelligence has confirmed the findings of a 2007 intelligence report that Iran has no nuclear weapons program.

Dennis Blair told the Senate Intelligence Committee that his organization has assessed that Tehran does not have nuclear weapons design and weaponization work.

A National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), issued in November 2007 by the sixteen US intelligence agencies, clarified that Iran was not pursuing a nuclear weapons program.

The 2007 intelligence report was widely seen as a setback for Bush administration efforts to pressure Iran and halt its nuclear program

Well this flies a little in the face of Israel when you have the US intelligence saying that Iran doesn't have a weapons program, and Israel saying they do.

Will this now mean that Israel will have to back off it's plans a little to try and target Irans civillian nuclear power plants?
Or will it be business as usual once a leader is finally declared after the elections.

If it does still press with it'e plans on Irans nuclear plants, will the US still get drawn in by proxy against it's will?

Well isn't this just a hoot:

Departing from an intelligence estimate published just over a year ago, the Obama administration made it clear that Iran is developing a nuclear weapon, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday. The report cited a news conference this week in which US President Barack Obama mentioned Iran's "development of a nuclear weapon" before correcting himself and saying that the Islamic Republic was merely "pursuing" the bomb. The harsher terminology reflects the degree to which senior US officials have rejected the November 2007 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) which said Iran had discontinued its military nuclear program in 2003, the report said.

The Iranian nuke program will end the same way the Iraqi Osirak and Syrian Deir ez-Zor nuke programs ended- with a big bang!

The IDF will eventually do what needs to be done to ensure their safety against extremist governments that have sworn to wipe the state of Israel from the face of the earth. President Ineedajihad will never see it coming.

Sounds to me like they are ALL trying to stir up a hornet's nest because they are all itching for a confrontation.

All three belief systems at war - christians, jews, muslims.

All lying to benefit their own evil, greedy agendas.

The way i see it. There is going to be a war now mater what, just to make sure they dont make the >A bomb.
It really dosent matter if they make the nuclear bomb or not as long as Iran is a threat to Israel. The nuclear debate is just a pretence to go to war to wipe out the threat.

You know Israel needs a reason to go to war.
