Do you enjoy your toilet paper and your cheetos? You'll be without those if the US turns into a socialist dictatorship like the USSR. Why don't you do us a favor and kill yourself now, so we don't have to waste a bullet on you while we're fighting for your freedoms, you piece of sh!t.

Did you bother looking into this at all. They (democrats) said they would post it 48 hrs before it was brought to the floor. Then they post it at 11pm last night (Thursday the 12th) and want to bring it to the floor for vote today (Friday the 13th). It is over 1000 pages in length! - You good at speed reading?

Here is a novel idea - maybe they (our public servants) should not be voting on laws over a 1000 pages in length without knowing what is in it. And furthermore it should be made public long enough before the vote so we the people may look it over and write our REPRESENTATIVE and let them know our thoughts on the proposed bill.

WAKE UP PEOPLE! The left and right, The Democrats and Republicans, are a scam created to divide and conquer! AGAIN - WAKE THE HELL UP!

[edit on 13-2-2009 by 2 cents]

They posted it AFTER MIDNIGHT - AND LEFT OUT 3 SECTIONS!!!!!

Look I am a Democrat - I voted FOR OBAMA - BUT FOR CHANGE -
Yeah - instead of being screwed out front anymore - now it is coming from the Back!!

I am sooooo MAD - I have been sending emails to EVERYONE - telling them to CALL THEIR REP!!!

THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!!

This is the LAST NAIL IN OUR COFFIN - Goodby U. S. dollar!!

We CAN NOT SURVIVE THE PRINTING OF THAT MONEY!!!!! We are dead - our currency will be DEAD!

Many of you talk of how you can't wait for revolution, civil war, anarchy, etc. You talk of how you are ready to fight and survive. How many of you have ever been in a fist fight? How many of you have ever gotten your ass beaten to a bloody pulp? How many of you have ever gotten jumped and ruffed up really bad? How many of you have ever fought someone and beat the sh*t out of them? How many of you have had the blood of another man on your hands after you just hurt him really bad? How many of you have ever tried to kill a man and had to be pried off of him by other people before you choked him to death? How many of you have ever shot and killed an animal? How many of you have ever shot a gun with the intent to kill something? How many of you have ever seen SHOT a gun? Not a damn pee shooter, I'm talking about M16, AR15, AK47, bullpups, etc.

You all talk of how you cant wait for the the STHTF and how you are so ready to fight, not just in this thread but in other threads.....but you have no clue how. Everyone wants to think of themselves as a bad ass and a fighter, but very few have the guts much less the physical ability to pull it off.

Most of you probably have no clue about firsthand violence, day in and day out, for months or years. Trust me, you do not want to do this the violent way, because most Americans dont have a 1/4 of the guts or the abilities to survive outdoors that the forefathers did. And the forefather were lucky, because the British were too occupied trying to manage all of their other wars across the globe, instead of investing all of their military power to focus on their rebellious cousins.

I can't believe some people are actually surprised by Obama not living up to his transparency promises. It was clear to me that he was just another politician bought and paid for. The biggest clue to this was how much coverage he was given during his run and how he was played up to be the savior from all the mess Bush left behind.

I'm just curious, out of all the people complaining about our government, how many voted for a third party candidate or a candidate without mainstream corporate sponsership?

I did, I voted for Paul even though I had to write his name in. I knew my vote would be a drop in the ocean, but I did it anyway.

If your tired of stagnation and want to see our country change course towards what it was meant to become we need to start a ground swell right now. We need to decide who really has us and our countries best interest in mind and then start gettin' the word out, so that come 2012 he can compete with all of the heavy hittin', cookie cutter, corporate sponsered, greedy tyranist which have smooth talked their way into the white house for so many years.

Seriously if there is a place where this can happen it's here on ATS and it is WE that could begin this revolution. One which will see something really groundbreaking happen, not the first black president or the first woman, but the first President which hasn't been bought and paid for before ever taking office. Can we actually do this to stop this tradition of tyranny?

YES WE CAN!!!

People need to get mad about what is going on. We need millions marching on DC. There is just simply not enough outrage about these things happening. Everyone is too complacent. Now is the time to stand.

If it comes down to physically fighting then we already lost.

Buddy420

Revolution is never accomplished through voting. It is always a product of bloodshed, and bloodshed only.

No surprise. Pelosi and her goons planned this. Make no mistake about it. This was talked about last week, I'm sure.

And to top it off, this guy hasn't been Pres. for even a month! What else can happen?

Will he be the one to lead us into civil war? Is the revolution upon us?

It sure seems to be headed that way.

Not to fear, President Obama (according to radio report) is going to launch a tour of the country AFTER the vote to "sell the plan to the American people"

After?

Why bother?

"The people" do not have a choice, why not just go on television after the vote and tell it like it is... Like it or not America this is the plan.. Now get off your lazy asses and go find a job, pay your taxes and be good productive citizens... Good night, God bless the United States of America.

I think MLK would disagree and with our military's modern tech I wouldn't suggest starting a bloody revolt. Seein' as how most the blood would be ours.

And so would Ghandi.

Thats exactly what I was implying buddy420. If you read my post I was stating that I read many posts of how the members here cannot wait to fight and are begging for a revolution. But yet they have never even been in a fist fight or shot a gun.

(a snip from my prior post)
"Most of you probably have no clue about firsthand violence, day in and day out, for months or years. Trust me, you do not want to do this the violent way, because most Americans dont have a 1/4 of the guts or the abilities to survive outdoors that the forefathers did."

Instigating a bloody revolt and being martyrd by the bad guy's are two different things.

Anyway, I feel we're starting to veer off topic.

I don't think dying as a martyr was the way in which he (MLK or Ghandi) planned to bring about the desired change. Both accomplished their goals not because they died but because of what they said and how they lived and inspired others.

My bad, I agree, but if pushed into the corner I think ofcourse we should defend ourselves with violence if necessary.

Sorry, last of my off topic post.

I understand your point here. Think of it like this though.. I can assume that by the way you presented your post that you have been in fights and/or shot a gun, but how many times have you fought or shot over your freedom? Have you or anyone in this thread ever had to fight for something more then a girl/guy, money, an exchange of words, or just plain not liking someone??? There is a huge difference between fighting for your freedom and just plain old fighting. IMO I wouldn't fight if someone called me a name or owed me money, but I would fight if it was me or them.. Survival of the fittest, right?? I am not disagreeing with your view, I'm just putting a different spin on it.

Why does so much fear seem to eek from ATS?

Why do so many of you hold onto this life so strongly, and invest so much psychic energy into such mad chaos? It is only a ride. Do not take it so seriously. Death is nothing to fear, it is merely a doorway. We must all walk thru it sooner or later. Whether today or in 50 years, why does the time in-between matter?

Learn to let go, and all of a sudden this ride becomes a whole lot easier to handle.

This is something I always try to help people realize, but people would rather not accept the fact that the whole game of politics is all just one big circus, the clowns keep on changing, but it's still the same show. People like to be entertained and feel as though they are part of the show. Many feel that the show must go on, and will make sure that it does because they are more than happy to live comfortably in their fantasy world.
