You are the one that wants a different society, not me. I want to preserve our society and our country.

The only way to do that is to stick around and work to keep it. And, if that means disagreeing with the political machine in DC, so be it.

Pelosi is PUBLIC ENEMY # 1 of the American people.

Is there anyone out there that actually likes this woman? In the time i've spent here I can't recall one person actually saying they support her.

So if you are out there and you support Pelosi....let us know.

Even the state she comes from is in shambles and she's the third most powerful person in Washington?

WTH!

I see a lot of your kind on the forums almost everywhere on internet. You must be paid chills, otherwise you're just brainless.

A lot here are not americans and don't care about democrats-republicans and just see what it's all about and see that Obama is just another puppet like Bush was.

Wake up. Both parties are corrupt.

I never said either party was great. In fact, I hate this whole fake democracy thing we have going. I'm not the one who started out singling people out, thank you very much.

Well, I'll be sticking around too, to throw a wrench into your perfect society.

You know, the English just wanted to preserve their society too, but our forefathers just weren't having it.

You are right; our forefathers weren't having it. And, thanks to them, we have the country we have today.

That is what some of us want to preserve....the country and ideals our forefathers fought for. And, the problem is, none of the yahoos in DC seem to care about them or us.

If you can't stand to live with dissenters, then you don't understand your forefathers at all. If you can't identify and respect revolutionary thoughts and actions, then you are a little less American.

America was founded on revolution- and thus I find it remaining stagnant would be the worst death possible for it.

I have no problem living with dissenters. But, that doesn't mean that I have to give credence to their ideals or ideologies when it comes to fundamentally changing the country I live in.

If you want socialism or communism or a freaking monarchy, that's fine. Move to where there is one. Don't try to change the country that my ancestors have fought and died for over the past 2 centuries.

The crazies in DC are trying to fundamentally change our country and as you can tell, there aren't all that many people that are happy about it. And, in my opinion, those that welcome that kind of "change" have no idea what it is really about.

No, I won't leave. I'm just saying I'd welcome these changes. I like my house, though I may lose it at any second (YAY CAPITALISM). I like my family, who all live here.

I like plenty of things enough to stay. My disgust at American stagnation is not enough to make me move, no matter how much you ask.

I have just as much a 'right' to try and change the country as you have to try and keep it the same.

And in it, Dianne Feinstein is trying to ram in some hardcore RIAA legislation.

That old biatch

And there's the eugenics from the health care clause...

And Obama is just getting started. Just watch what he does with gun control legislation.

And about Iran...

Here
In his news conference this week, President Obama went so far as to describe Iran's "development of a nuclear weapon" before correcting himself to refer to its "pursuit" of weapons capability.

So Obama is letting the ``bombing Iran`` door open... how surprising... NOT.

Nobody has to really like you but the bankers and eco freaks. If one has those guys at their back, it seems that the sky is the limit when it comes to political power.

She doesn't give a damn about the environment either. I'm pretty liberal(At least I affiliated myself with many liberals until recently) and I have a few of my own liberal environmental policies, but nothing like the fake environmentalism she is proposing. Like the liberal cap and trade system or carbon tax, none of which makes any sense at all and would likely destroy the economy even further. Liberals have changed...They used to stand up for something big. Like social values, the republicans used to be the party of sound economics, that too has changed. We used to vote in democrats to get a few social issues taken care of, and then we would vote in republicans to get the economy going. Now, it seems, no matter what you vote for you get the same damned thing.

What happened America? You used to believe in something.

When I read posts such as yours,I often wonder why most of us even bother. Why should we stand up for the Constitution or the rights of the common man when, the sad fact is there are many just like you.People who have survived by the good graces of the nanny state.People who feel that they are entitled to what I and others have accumulated.
Those that have suckled the teat of the welfare state, are point zero for all the problems we now face. The socioliberal adgenda has worked well.Keep the people at a minium of education, and keep them "provided"for so they won't rock the boat.
Why are people showing suprise at the Democratic tactics now? It's the way it's always been.
