Bayh voted AYE!!!! That's it, we're doomed.

Maybe they aren't really waiting for Brown.

Could be they're stalling so all the other Democrats can be safely on their way out of the area before finalizing the biggest heist of the American people in the history of the world.

Yea, that's it.

Did I mention I don't support the passage of this Bill?

It might not be clear to some with out actually saying it, I can be misleading sometimes.

skeptic, they're talking about the Senate version of the bill that passed earlier this week.

Reid was looking for 60 votes so they could override a filibuster.

I'm really confused. They shouldn't need 60 on this one today. Just a majority

Once again we were failed by our government.

Could this be it? Could this be the thing that finally sets everyone off?

60 votes are needed because this falls under the Reconciliation definition

No, that was about the vote today. The first sentence is about the previous vote, but Reid is still looking for that magic "60".

I think Redhatty found the reason for that.

THANK YOU! I hate it when I can resolve something like that! Thanks .

Stim ulus Reconciliation

Now that the U.S. Senate has passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Senate version of the stimulus bill must be reconciled with the House version before the final legislation is sent to President Obama's desk.

I no longer view myself as "American" in light of the Federal Government.. they are an abomination of the land, defiling what we stand for.. and to be an American, is to represent the Federal Government, and not the Union of States.

A sad era for this once great country..

Our government has done some absurd things.

But passing the biggest spending bill in US history without reading it in it's entirety is unbelievable.

There is no justification for it. NONE.

This is not the country I once thought it was.

what were people asking about the bailout a few months ago..."how did they figure out how much they needed"

and we learned where a big portion of that was spent on executive bonuses.

This is'nt being pushed by the Obama admin..this is the workings of whoever pushed the last stimulus and bailouts.

Considering the problems this is suppose to fix. the whole scale and scope of the problems we are talking about...
I find it extremely hard to swallow that a small majority of people could just create somthing that can "fix" somthing like this. In such a short time.

as professional as they may seem, it only seems natural that people couldnt know how to fix somthing as grand as this. Its just people claiming to know hwo to fix things, so they can hold onto power..
This is still just an experiment, cant we just be on the brink of knowledge...not knowing how this can turn out? Without people claiming they can fix or change it?

Alright, brace yourselves, folks. I believe that this is where it gets dicey.

That is AND IF, it gets any media attention. That plane crash sure was timely.

Same as me?

I saw Bush as a Liberal.. a Fascist Liberal, but a Liberal..

I see no difference in Obama either.. cut from the same mold, he just has a .... cooler way of doing it?

I don't think that Pelosi and Reid believe that Obama is the President. The two of them are acting as if they are the President. Obama has at least tried to be bipartisan. Pelosi and Reid have actually killed Obama's attempt to be bipartisan, by their arrogance in saying "We won the Election. We write the bill".

This bill will make matters much worse. The bill has added $7,000 of debt to each taxpayer in the US. Great deal, huh- they give some of you $400 a year for two years, but will take $7,000 from you, your children and your grandchildren. What a deal!

Haha. That's funny. If they had a conscience, they almost certainly wouldn't be Democrats. Or, possibly better put, if they had a conscience, they wouldn't be part of the American Socialist Movement Party.

One has to wonder how many Congressman actually know this fact since THEY DIDN'T READ THE WHOLE DAMN THING.

This stuff is just beyond words to explain.

Just think guys....if they won't read a bill.....THEY SURE AS HELL AREN"T GOING TO READ YOUR EMAILS.

I actually disagree there. They will read your emails before they read the crap they put past you. Afterall, they openly admit at this point that Americans don't know or give a DAMN what they do.

If we send enough emails it sends them a message.
That's the only thing that will.
Open dissent tears their house of cards apart and it pains me when people don't realize this.
