Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.
“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.”

Let's just say the Russians have a better understanding what is happening here then we do, and they know what socailism most likely will lead to.

They are trying to tell us, but are MSM is ignoring it.

Putin also echoed the words of conservative maverick Ron Paul when he said, “we must assess the real situation and write off all hopeless debts and ‘bad’ assets.

Yeah, you know the world is totally screwed up when the leader of communist Russia is telling the United States NOT TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES THEY DID.

Hello people???? Is this registering with you yet?

The fact that he even shadows what Ron Paul has been saying is insane by itself.

S & F ( I almost posted this as a thread myself after i read the original article)

Edit: Why is this in New World Order? Should be in breaking alternative news, global meltdown, etc.

I don't think we need Putin to tell us that!

You'd think it would be self-evident...

If only more people took Ludwig Von Mises more seriously...

Its pretty bad when even this SOB can see where we're headed, while a lot of Americans apparently can't. Then again, I'm beginning to believe that there are a good many people in this country that are so stupid that they actually want this country to become communist.

I realized that the first time I saw an Obama rally.

I truly hope they wake up before it's too late ... maybe a massive drop in popularity will be enough to make Obama tone things down a bit and ditch the socialist crap.

It would seem that Joseph McCarthy was born well before his time.

Kind of sad what a couple of decades can do for the political values of a nation.

you can see this is no accident.

Even our idiot Prime minister just put us in debt of over 20 billion.
he has already given out 10 billion before christmas which did nothing to secure jobs.
20 billion doesn't sound like much, but with a population of 20 million it is a lot.

Does anyone still think that places like the US, UK and Australia are not doing this on pupose anymore?
