Gov Sanford of SC is still undecided... even though the state has a million
unemployed that are going to have their unemployment benefits terminated because of lack-of-funds
i recall the Fed had a game-of-chicken with the individual states
back in the 1970s... the Fed was not going to send Gas Tax Matching Funds
to any state that did not sign up to lower the speed limit to 55MPH....
All states came on board, because they stood to lose hundreds of millions
individually in revenue sharing funds (share the revenue of gas taxes)
the Fed is going to do the same leverage with this 'Stimulus & Reinvestment' money... here in 2009 !
