Google free email to be banned in California.

The free Google mail has got people up in arms.

Surely, you choose to have this or you choose not to use it. Nobody is going to force you to use it. What's the problem?

Have you all gone mad? Surely, legislating against this is removing your rights? I don't understand why privacy groups have such issues with this. :bash:

I bet you have already read this, but I'll re-post for others. I don't really care about online privacy, but I can see why some people would.

Added this link in my last post in the g00gle thread on website-related discussions.

Google made it obvious that if you use Gmail, you'll get spam etc.

It should be up to us whether or not we use it, not some power crazed arsehole politician.
