Kick Saudi Araba out

What does it take for us to end our relationship with these people? The royal princess was caught financing one of the 9/11 hijackers, the saudi government owns Al Jezzer, most the Muslim schools support and teach anti-american propaganda, they don't care when thousands of people march through the streets chanting "death to america." Is this a country we want to be friends with?

How much investigation do they need before it's obvious that the Saudi government and people are full fledge partners with Al Qaeda?

You are aware that the only thing that is keeping the Saudi Royal Family in power, is that the US is not necessarily backing them, but that the US still maintains a military presence within the kingdom.

If the US pulls its troops out of the kingdom and the surrounding nations, that the kingdom will erupt into rebellion, causing world OPEC oil to either cease or become very unstable. The kingdom will probably become like a the theocracy run government of Iran.

IMHO, its almost a 'catch-22' situation, and the us is not the only nation that buys OPEC oil that knows this.

Just as those who claimed that this administration was just after Iraqi Oil, so I guess its the same with the Saudis, eh?

Your harping on Saudi Arabia because what? Because they had 3/4's of the 'hi-jackers' were Saudi or had Saudi passports? Bin Laden? What?
The Saudi Royal family is a HUGE family. As such, you are saying that the entire family supports fanatical, militant extremists? Thus implying that the "Saudis" support terrorism?

I believe that the Saudis were confronted over these allegations prior to or during the Afghanistan campaign? Their reply was what?

anyways back to topic - Seekerof hit it right on the head - we can't pull out because we NEED their oil for our economy.

Any of you guys read the Boston newspapers? Craig Unger? Or, in fact, the Observer or Guardian in the UK? Each of these carried stories close to Sept. 11th regarding the departure of 140 Saudi nationals [including 24 members of the Bin Laden family] from US soil and back to Saudi. I think this kind of underlines the nature of the relationship between The Bush Family, not the US, and the House of Saud. One of the Saudi Princes is even referred to as Bandar Bush and considered a member of the family.

Sure, my own country doesn't have a great track record with the Saudis - in fact our bad record in the Middle East goes way further back than that of the US.

None of this is an excuse for ignoring the lessons of the past and making them problems of the present and future. One can only hope that the present investigation into 9/11 going on at the moment is allowed to pursue a line of questioning about the evacuation by air of 140 Saudi nationals at a time when no one in the US [or outside of it wanting to get in] could get their ass off the ground in an aircraft.

Bush has some dodgy relationships that he should be forced to explain, that with the Saudis being the prime one.
