I've been looking into the Air Force and the Navy pretty seriously now for a while as a career move. The problem i have is a rediculous amount of always visual tats. My hands, my neck and my head (all inside hairline though).

Is there any possible way i could still get a recruiter to accept me?

I believe aslong as you do not have any gang tattoos, or gang affiliation you should be fine.

Though covering up the tattoos for the interview is a wise choice. I have many tattoos, and when I go for a job interview I cover them up completely. Some people just do not understand the meaning of having body art.

I don't have any visible gang affiliation tats.

The ink thats visible all the time (even with a sleeved shirt on) is what i was worried about. And unless I show up for an interview with gloves, a scarf, and a beanie on then i think i might be SOL.

Like I said before look presentable and Im sure youll do fine

And if your seriously THAT worried. Look into getting some skin makeup to cover them up. Any woman will be glad to help you out.

And no. It's not unmanly to wear makeup to cover you tattoos.

I work on a Marine Corps base and the Marines are covered in ink. I really don't think it would matter.

Damn I wanted to see him go through the process of buying his own makeup.
