The MSM Bring Down a Curtain of Darkness Around Obama

When Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was accused of attempting to sell Obama’s Senate seat, the first question that came to the mind of police authorities was whether the President-elect had partnered with him or at least was aware of what was going on. There was no hiding the question, not only because it came directly from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, but also because, a few weeks earlier, one of the main Obamist campaign aides, David Axelrod, had mentioned in an interview a recent meeting between Obama and governor Blagojevich.

...the non-profit organization Judicial Watch subpoenaed Blagojevich, under the Freedom of Information Act, to disclose all official records of any recent contact between the governor and Barack Obama or any member of his team.a letter written on the Presidential Transition Team’s letterhead, signed personally by Barack Obama, in which he thanked Blagojevich for the meeting they had had in Philadelphia on December 2,...not only had Obama and Blagojevich taken part into the conversation, but so had Vice-President-elect Joe Biden.

What a great way to use the new rules for the FOIA. And I don't see this anywhere in the media. Obama lied, within his first months in office. I knew there was something strange about this whole thing.

These are nothing more then form letters sent out to all attendees of the Democratic Governors Association (and probably the RNC equivalent) and a reach-out e-mail regarding the transistion team.

So, Obama had a meeting... Big deal. He can give the (ex)gov. advice on who he'd like to see seated. Theres no proof that anything wrong took place and honestly why would Barak really care? What could Blogo offer him that he doesnt already have? It was probably more Blago brown-nosing...

Obama came out and said that he had no contact with Blagojevich, there was even an "in-depth investigation" that said he didn't. But this says that that's a lie.

If Obama had nothing to hide then why lie about having a meeting?

Clinton was not impeached by the House for having extra marital sexual escapades in the Oval Office, as disrespectful as that was. He was impeached for bold-faced lying. It was only because the Senate gave him a free pass that he was not removed from office.

If the former governor laid out the "Pay to Play" to Obama and he rightful refuse then good for him. However not bringing up those charges is a complicity and a condoning of the practice. Lying about it makes Obama an accessory to a high crime for political corruption. That makes Obama open game to investigation to impeachment.

For only two weeks in office, the man sure is setting some speed records.
