A Lebanese ship carrying aid for Gaza was stopped by the Israeli navy and is being escorted into port, Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak says.
Earlier, officials in Lebanon said Israeli gunboats had fired on the ship before soldiers boarded it, although Israel denied this.
Lebanese PM Fouad Siniora has called on the international community to persuade Israel to allow the shipment through.

Not surprising at all, the bandit state has always engaged in piracy. A well documented event is the USS Liberty attack. Predatory mentalities rely on ambush, snatching and keeping. That aid ship will most likely be emptied or the supplies vandalised with a bit of 'security searching'.

The Israeli navy on Thursday intercepted a ship delivering 60 tons of supplies from Lebanon to the Gaza Strip. An investigation of the ship revealed it contained no hidden weapons and it has been docked in the port of Ashdod.
Israeli sources said that the aid the ship was carrying would be transferred to Gaza via land. The passengers, who attempted to dock in Gaza illegally, were transferred to security forces for questioning.

Funny, i remember so many reports, that israel blocked even the most substantial things like food, gazoline and, yes, medical aid.
Ah, yes, and there was a report, too, that clearly stated, that Hamas was not controlling the humanitarian aid, one way or the other. (Though it is not true, that Hamas never controlled humanitarian aid)
Didn't the US news cover the stories about the many waiting hours for BREAD?? BEFORE the war started?
Sorry, my impression is, that you may have a biased opinion
(By the way, english is not my motherlanguage)
