OK, So what's So Bad About a New World Order?

I have been seeing a whole lotta folks talk about a New World Order, and
this is meant to be a bad thing, why is that? I guess there might
actually be some sorta organization or something that refer to some laid
out plan as NWO...and it seems to have a lot to do with controlling the
masses, but in truth, don't we need a new world order? Seems to me
the one we have is, well...sorta shoddy and not working very well.

I mean if we are all One then shouldn't we be working from Oneness?
Shouldn't such arbitrary stuff as nationalism, borders, religious
differences, imbalance of resources and all the rest of the very
things that pit us one against the other be done away with, and one
Planetary Government be the right answer?

Is it possible for Earth Humans to work together, with united focus
and purpose? And, if we can, don't we need one united form of
governance and law making? The planet is so small these days, due
to technology and the amazing speed of spreading information...unless
you are way out in the boonies somewhere, or have your head in the
sand, it's sorta hard NOT to be at least partially aware of what's
going on in the world. Since we have the technology why can't we
put it to use in a supportive way, to advance the species and the
planet in a positive way?

Seems to me the main weapon of those would chose the sorta systems
we have in place now is fear. These folks use fear and lack to
control us. Why do we simply allow this? Are we, each of us
as an individual, so scared, so cowed, so overwhelmed with fear
that we are simply unable to respond in any positive way? Have
we given away our sovereignty to the point we can never get it back?

Maybe so. Even here, in Lightworkers, we have a certain faction
of folks who spend their time, attention and energies focusing on
what scares us. Folks who call themselves activists and believe
that they are promoting awareness, but in actuality are simply
unpaid propagandists for the powers that be. These folks buy into
the fear campaign...spreading the word of those who would control
us, believing all the while they are doing us some sorta service.
Even as they feel they are doing the work they are called to do,
they are in fact simply promoting fear tactics aren't they,
spreading the word for the folks behind it all? Dupes?

Why does the idea of a planetary government scare everyone so much?
If we are (and we are) One people, One Planet, One life... why can't
we learn to speak as one united voice? Does it necessarily mean
that we are only capable of choosing those who are power hungry,
extremely wealthy and desiring to control to govern us? Are we
incapable, as a species, to govern ourselves in love, peace, harmony
and mutual respect?

I dunno, maybe I simply don't have a good handle on 'reality'. I
think of us working together as a single people, and with a single
goal, and I can't seem to get my head around it. What about all
the people who...well, you know, wanna do all the stuff that got
us here in the first place? How do we wrest power from them and
spread it about more evenly? Do folks who have ideas about a
loving, equal sharing Earth even really WANT to take on the responsibility
for such a big job as governing a planet?

Maybe we need a human cull, ya think? Maybe the whole idea of stopping
the catastrophes and disasters wasn't such a good thing after all?
Perhaps we should just left Earth to her own devises and not interfered?
Removal of the main percentage of the population, wiping out the systems
and values we now hold might been the right idea in the first place. Heck,
maybe we should just let her shake off the current incarnation of mankind
completely and start from fresh. You know, Garden of Eden without the apple?

From where I sit it seems improbable, in fact perhaps even impossible, for
humanity to recognize its oneness and begin to function together in wholeness. It's not so much about those in power, illumaniti, NWO scare mongers...it's really about us...

Ok, let me start - what's so bad with the NWO?

1. You are now limited to 2 children whether you like it or not
2. You cannot travel across state or overseas without our approval.
3. You must have "papers" to travel, to work, to marry.
4. You will work where we tell you to work.
5. If you protest against us we will lock you up, torture you and force you into a labour camp (slavery).
6. You no longer have access to ANY media (including the Internet) that we do not want you to see.
7. You are now forced to follow our religion and forego ANY other worship.
8. If you are deformed, a criminal or handicapped we will sterilise ALL of your off-spring.
9. You are never allowed to own property.
10. Everything you own belongs to the state – including your children.

So there is just a start. I hope you enjoy your New World Order, but please forgive me if I fight back

Very nicely said!

WatchNLearn, maybe I am wrong, but the impression I got from the OP is not what you are talking about. yuriscorpion was not talking about THE NWO or some other secret society. This topic is more on the lines of a global realization that when you strip away our nationalities, ethnicities, religions, or any other classification... we are all 1 Humanity.

We should strive towards a New World Order in the sense that we should unite as One. Not as one global group of sheep being ruled over by a small elite, but rather a global understanding that each person on this earth is bound to everyone else under one species, one Mankind, one Humanity.

If Alex Jones and others thinking along similar lines are correct, the "endgame" of the New World Order is to eradicate over 5 billion people (perhaps more) and have the remainder work as a kind of slave/drone/artisan class for the ultra-elite, who will live lives of splendor in massive latifundiae.

Sounds quite nice...if you happen to be in the 0.000000001% that benefits in the end, that is. While I believe the earth is overcrowded and that this needs to change somehow, I find many prickly moral dellimas with simply offing 5.5 billion people for the benefit of the psycdhopaths at the top of the food chain.

I donm't know, I find thast humanity is an almost inherently combatiative species. We are violent carnivorous apes, and cannibalism is part of our past. I'm not sure a simple one-world order would ever work, given human psychology. We'd be at our throats one way or another in no time, or else some small claque or ruling elite would fins a way to turn the whole situation to their advantage. I guess I just don't have as much faith in humanity as you do.

Nothing is wrong with a New World Order. As long as I am in charge of it.

Kidding.

But , what you say is true, Oneness and all of that. It would be nice to see humanity work together toward a common good.

However the people who are generally pointed at as wanting to implement this NWO, tend not to have humanities common good as their goal. The want to ensure their own individual good at the expense of humanity as a whole.

Which is really not a "new" form of order, but is only New in the sense that this time they want the whole world under their thumb rather than just a small geographic area.

There is the small problem of getting the will and desire of the people in such a large a place as the whole planet conveyed in a meaningful way to a small group of leaders who will be far removed from their day to day reality. We see that even large countries like the US. Our leaders are often out of touch with the common man. Why compound that problem at this point in time by forming a World Order?

We cant make small governments responsive to the needs of the people, what chance do we have of making a huge one responsive?

Who said I have faith in humanity? I believe there will never be a peaceful global unification in my lifetime, even if Will Smith's Independence Day played out in real life :p
