Octuplets' mother had filed two workers' compensation claims

www.telegraph.co.uk

The controversy-mired mother of octuplets filed two claims for workers' compensation while employed as a psychiatric technician, records show.

Nadya Suleman, 33, sought settlements from the Metropolitan State Hospital for an unspecified incident in 1999, and two years later lodged a second claim for injuries sustained in a vehicle accident while travelling to or from a medical appointment.

Documents filed at the California Department of Industrial Relations show that Miss Suleman's 2001 bid, which was lodged with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, pertained to an "injury to neck, back and shoulders from auto accident on commute for medical treatment".

The Los Angeles Times reports that this second claim was filed because of a disagreement regarding Miss Suleman's former employer's liability for issues including temporary disability indemnity and reimbursement for medical expenses.

This is the mother of one of the biggest scams around - and I am not speaking about the 14 babies that will be stuck with her for life.

Two worker's compensation claims? Remember this is where she got the money for having all 14 babies. It was only after she was "disabled" that she started her fertilization journey.

In other exciting news the octuplets mothers' publicist is seriously pissed that we aren't bowing and scraping at this superhuman feat of reproduction:

"Last Friday the mother of newborn octuplets did what any single, unemployed mom of six who just gave birth to octuplets would do -- she hired a publicist.

And that publicist is pissed.

Joann Killeen, the spokesperson for Suleman, told momlogic she's fed up with people jumping to conclusions about her client. "They don't know the situation. They don't know her, yet they feel the right to criticize."

"The truth is," says Killeen, "No mother says to herself, 'I want eight babies at once.'"

In further exciting news about Nadya Denise Doud Solomon and there are another number of last names she has used, left her ex-husband 8 years ago and made him chase her for the next 8 years until she finally consented.

"Repeated attempts to serve Suleman by Gutierrez were unsuccessful. The papers also reveal that none of her kids are by him, leaving their parentage still a mystery. And while she is now known as Nadya Suleman on court papers, Gutierrez listed her, under respondent as "Nadya Doud AKA Natalie Denise Suleman."

And still more - She didn't have to have these babies by herself, her mother states the sperm donor offered to marry her and she did have boyfriends, despite the fact that she was still legally married, but she wanted to be a single parent.

"Miss Suleman turned down a marriage proposal and refused the offer of commitment from the father of her first six children, Angela Suleman said.

"She just wanted to do whatever she is doing by herself," Mrs Suleman told Us Weekly magazine. "

BUT wait there's more Mother of the nation Nadya Suleman also didn't tell her parents that she was having more babies "transferred" until AFTER she had done it, despite the fact that they had begged her to stop having babies as she had no job and no husband, and the family had already lost everything.
