PM "unaware" of US intel threat.

news.sky.com

Downing Street says it is not aware of a threat by the US to withdraw cooperation over terrorist intelligence.
The response came after two senior judges revealed that the US government put pressure on the UK to suppress evidence of allegations of torture of a British resident.

But the Prime Minister's spokesman said: "I'm not aware of any such threat.

"We have a very strong intelligence relationship with the US and this will continue."

Well this is a turn up for the books.

Two senior judges have said this happened, but funnily enough both governments are denying it.

I'm glad this has come out, however it's a shame that it won't be as well known that this is not the first time governments have employed underhand tactics to get thier way.

I wonder how much this will effect the supposedly tight friendship the US and the UK have?
