Obama: Catastrophe coming if Congress doesn't act

Here is a way to save immediate U.S. dollar. Since "Hussein" wishes to cap the salaries of any future execs. who take Govt. Money. Put a pay cap on all Govt. employees starting with congress. After all they get thier money from the Govt.

The first bailout hit consumer confidence in the nads. Obamas comments, this 'job stimulus' - 'American way' bailout package, and the mixed messages everyone is getting from both parties might just kill consumer confidence this time around.

How about we cut spending, get rid the Federal Reserve, stop printing money like it's toilet paper, stop rewarding companies for moving jobs over seas, stop wasting money on wars we don't have to be fighting, drill for oil in Alaska, and the list can go on and on and on.

Printing more money will only make the problem worse and a child can understand this!

I was watching a movie called Super Rich: The Greed Game. Basically the elite take advantage of the artificially low interests rates that helped create this bubble. So it's fair to say, the Fed is the root cause of the situation were in. Printing more money will only lead to further problems.

That certainly is a worrying thing to watch.

It does really support the idea that much of what has happened after 9/11 was manufactured to make the wealthy elite more wealthy, and the people into their slaves.

In my opinion, the financial crisis is already out of our control. The governments understand that money really has no value. The entire system is beyond repair, it's worthless.
What they are doing with each stimulus package is trying to limit the damage to society and spread the collapse over a couple of years.

They know that if they tell the truth and say "we don't know what to do", civil society will collapse in a heartbeat.
Just look at the recent economic forum. They came away from that and had to say that nothing at all was achieved! Of course they added that work was continuing and that everything would be fine as long as we suffer the debt for generations. And all while the wealthy sit on their piles of money.

By bailing out the car manufacturers, they secured a lot of jobs for a few months. But cars are not suddenly going to start selling.
Perhaps one of the three companies will survive, but there simply isn't a market for all three of them.
It was blackmail. The car companies basically said "either give us this money, or we'll make millions of people unemployed".

I hope that when the end of the $ does come, people will be hunting down the super rich and hanging them from trees.
They are a cancer in the Human race. Why should they be permitted to live in safety and security in their luxurious mansions while the damage they've done destroys millions of lives?

WHATEVER!!! A CATASTRPOHIE IS COMING ANYWAY... WHETHER THEY GET THE MONEY OR NOT!

So go ahead... take it... take it all... whatever.

We, be we socialist, independent, democrat,or, republican, are in this cesspool together.

What the "right wingers" are doing is looking after our interests, or so they would have have us believe. Of course, the left wingers, would want us to believe the same is true of their endeavors.

The catastrophe has already befallen us, by the passage of TARP. This BS
is icing on the cake.

The "truth" is somewhere in between.

Let's be fair shall we? It's not a conservative catastrophe alone. The left is just as much to blame as the right. The dems have had the majority for the last two years.

I wonder where Al Gore is, screaming "He's playing on our fears!"?

That's all this is. Fear mongering. Republicans apparently don't have a monopoly on it.

Obama is being transparent all right. Much to his chagrin in this debacle.
