UK ministers must answer allegations that Britain was complicit in torture, a senior Conservative MP has said.

The ruling also said the US threatened to withdraw intelligence help from the UK if details were released.

So much for the special relationship that Hillary Clinton was prattling on about yesterday, whilst this could be blamed on George Bush and his administration Channel 4 news tonight is reporting that Barac Obama is also threatening the UK with the same thing, so just why should the UK stand beside the US anymore when we get this sort of thing thrown in our face?

Diplomatic ties are null and void these days it seems; that or people have finally decided that it's time to break everything and reveal all the hidden truths.

Isn't learning things great?

It does seem that way, makes you wonder just what they are hiding as the part of the court records they are trying to hide is only supposed to be around 9 paragraph's long (according to channel 4 news just now) could it be that Al Quada is a CIA trained/funded organiseation just like the Taliban was originally?

Now THAT would be something to hear; finally revealing that Al Qaeda all along was a pseudonym for something like the Mujahadeen. I've always read that in reality there never was an Al Qaeda, but that there was an 'Qaeda' database from the CIA.

But as it's coming from the UK that probably isn't it; from what I read it's about the issue of a UK citizen being tortured at Gitmo and forced to sign a coerced confession. If it's true that it's what it's about, then the memo would probably reveal that Torture was used on a Citizen of the UK for no warranted reason.

No problem.

Release the details - expose the government criminals, both US and UK.

Let the US government rescind Intelligence.

Let terrorist cells move through the UK due to lack of Intelligence.

Then watch them board US-bound planes and do the dirty business yet again.

Very feckin smart US government!

And shame on the UK government for the complicity - no matter how unexpected it is.
