A woman suspected of recruiting more than 80 female suicide bombers has confessed to organising their rapes so she could later convince them martyrdom was the only way to escape the shame.

This I suppose is just another side of the brain washing that goes into getting a human being to carry explosives into a situation and detonate them selves.

Break a person down and build them in the image you want. The actual bombers can be considered another one of the victims when you look at it from this point of view (albeit victims that do actually have input at some level)... Even if these people do see sense at the last second then the 'voice of God' will step in and call them to heaven (also know as a VHF transmission from some low life hidden safely away up the street with a video camera)

In a video released by police, she explains how she mentally prepared the women for martyrdom operations, passed them on to terrorists who provided explosives and then took the bombers to their targets.

In many parts of Iraq, including conservative Diyala, a rape victim may be shunned by her family and become an outcast in society.
