I believe this is a message to Obama and the new administration.
Come after us, pursue us with criminal prosecution, and we will make 9/11 look like a church picnic.

Where does Robert Gates and the other folks that have stayed on from Bush's administration fall into this, seeing as how all our ills obviously were coming from them?

Cheney and others who were previously in power (like Clinton) remind me of the 45 year old fat guys who constantly talk about the time in high school they ran that one great touchdown play or hit that half court shot. Nobody want's to lose power or be out of the spotlight. Simple human behavior.

Here we go again....Cheney, Bush and Co. are playing into the paranoia again.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was another attack, but less surprised even if it was orchestrated by them.
Gotta keep those war, weapons, Halliburton, Blackwater, etc. $$$ rolling in.

Well what they are saying is playing into the numbers game. Because terrorist attack during times of change. which is why 9/11 happened only a few months after Bush came into office.

They try to get the country when they are already in a state of upheavel. And Cheney knows this and is banking on it so he can say: SEE!

But it is something that the leaders already know.

I look at this "threat" as a for gone conclusion.
America has many enemies, and some of them pass by waving the American Flag....

I think back to Jericho and its demise,I assume it stepped on too many toes.

I believe people have plans to further their own selfish agenda, and killing thousands, means little to nothing to them.

I am a believer that ths probaly will happen.
And it dosent matter if Obama,Bush,or Jesus Christ was in office.

And it wont matter who did it,our government, rouge members of some millitary operation,Cheany,etc...

Were all screwed basically,America will be forever changed, and collapse.
And America, much like Rome, will become nothing more than a foot note in history.

Wrong. You think Bush has made the muslims angrier? How the heck to do get them angrier when they are already maxed out? You do know they first attacked us in 1993 under bill clinton yes?

Its their religion, they are told to attack and kill non-muslims or convert them. Do all of them follow this, no, but a good amount of them believe in it. We are told that there are only about 3-4% that would attack us. Well, thats about 7-9 million people when you do the math.

I don't agree with your assertion. It has been documented that many Muslims who had never though of joining the jihad became motivated to take up arms when we started bombing Iraq...and torturing prisoners in Abu Gharib..and in Gitmo..and other secret prisons.

I am sure the Quaran does not tell them to kill non muslims. You can see that here. In fact, the Quaran is very tolerent of Jews and Christians since they are Abrahamic faiths, like Islam.
There are extremists in almost every religion including Christianity. In Christian history, there have been wars fought and justified by obscure pasages in the Bible (ie the Crusades).

In my opinion, these people's faith is only being used as a way to manipulate them to obtain a political goal. To me, terrorism is a tactic. It is not an ideology. Which is why Bin Laden wasn't willing to strap a bomb to his back. Just as GW & Co invoked the Christian faith to gain support of his followers. They helped perpetuate the 'holy war', manipulating Christians to believe that what he was doing was "god's will".

And it worked, because there are folks who still think all Muslims are religiously obligated to kill all non Muslim Americans. Trust me, there are enough of them in the world that if that statement were true, it would have already been done.

AMEN

Once you start killing peoples children and babies ( - accidentaly of corse )

thats when you create new enemies...

its bologna,

I swear I have a friend who supported Bush because he was "Christian." Nevermind the mess he made. Besides, I don't know that Bush really is a Christian. I'm not so sure he fully believes in god. Correct me, please, if I'm wrong.

My friend sees, "Christian" and so "everything" Bush does is ok. At least that's the way it looks to me. I think maybe Bush played the Christian card to look good to Christian people. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

This isn't Christian bashing, but it shows that some people don't know who some of their actual friends are. They look for certain "trigger words" to let them know someone is ok. They are sort of wearing "beer goggles" when it comes to certain people.

This is an exaggeration, but I could be standing at his door with a bloody axe, looking at his kids, but as long as I was holding a bible, and said I was a devoted Christian, "Well, come on in."

I guess I'm off topic, but I saw something in your post that related to this.

Being a non-christian I think the code-word is "abortion". I too have a friend..well not so much friend anymore cause I'm not a Christian and therefore can't be a part of her club. The fact that everything else they do is against the Christian faith, being anti abortion trumps everything else.

The Cheney thing is a just a shout out to the Christians to remember that we're fighting a "holy war" against the muslims. That it's okay to kill them and cause they aren't in the Christian Club.

Just my take on it..

Dick Cheney requires checking himself. No Presidential Pardons.
JAIL HIM. Immediately after his dump truck society precludes the truth on how they billed and got paid for 180% of their efforts.
Obama, President, should not jeopardise his own ratings by allowing the Cheney clan's getaway here.

I agree with your statements about this trigger word , it's very obvious that this is emotional manipulation specifically directed and a certain demographic

they have been lead to believe that birth control is the issue

I've asked pro lifers many times ,did you ever lose a job or get defrauded out of your earned retirement ,or had your health insurance refuse to pay ,or lost your home because someone somewhere had an abortion ,or took birthcontrol pills?

If no one had an abortion or used birthcontrol what would change?

a little off topic perhaps ,but an illustration of the social engineering goals of certain Rightwing Idealogs
