France has told it's 300+ people to leave Iraq ASAP. Russia has also said that it will help it's people to leave.

This just confirms that things in Iraq are far far worse then we are being told.

In other events, Hungary has stopped a believe assination attemp on the Isrealy prime minister. Hungarian offical say they have arrested 3 Arab men. Early rumour suggest that they planed to plant a bomb in the new memoral to the holocaust.

Yeah but since when has, what France does in sticky situations, been a good indicator of how bad things are? They aren't exactly the types that will only flee when things get really awful. No, they rather high-tail it out before they are at risk of breaking a nail or stubbing a toe.

P.S. I'm not trying to say that the Iraq situation is peachy, but put it in perspective compared to many conflicts of the past. It hasn't reached a critical level yet when you put it up against other wars/missions/conflicts etc.

Couldn't we say the same about the Russians?

Thanks.

This is almost two day old news.
Sky is an affiliate/overseas sister site of FAUS (FOX).

The warnings can be taken and interpreted as one wishes....merely precautionary, IMHO.
Those people are in a war zone.

During the Iran-Iraq war, Iran treated France, quite rightly, as a co-belligerent. Given the evidence that BNP Paribas stole oil-for-food money and hired al-Qaeda, America should do something equally forceful.
