Advert for Obama to leagalize cannabis..

Great commercial, but i doubt it will happen. the government is making more money by bleeding tax payers dry and from property seizure to support the war on drugs than it would by legalizing and taxing. and the 'create more jobs' part of the commercial is more or less a moot point: soetoro would rather see people employed by the government (the DEA for example) than employed by a private manufacturer.

How much does it cost to arrest 800,000 people in 2007 alone? How much does it cost to incarcerate potheads? More than the cost of the war and the bailout. Think about that.

Just as long as Biotech Gene jokers don't get their paws on it , I fear big government and business will bastardize cannabis, twist it to nefarious designs . Scanner Darkly , much . Legislative measures would have to implemented earliest as possible after decriminalization prevent this scenario.

I actually write for a marijuana magazine... thats err www.cannabismag.com good site...fresh....anyways, thats what I really advocate, is the legalization of marijuana...and not only marijuana but ALL DRUGS....the main reason for this position is that I believe we need to stop funding the drug cartels. It's ridiculous.
