"A person is expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned" by all means question the education you're taught, by all means. And yet you won't question you own faith......and there lies the problem.
I’ve never pushed my beliefs on anyone on these forums or otherwise; my proof is that no one knows what my beliefs are! AshleyD might have an idea, but to the point; I don’t “think” I am right, I believe I MIGHT have stumbled upon a truth. But if I have done so, it was by chance and by no great endeavor of my own. If I am wrong, I have harmed no one.
I'm simpy saying i don't wont someone to impose their belief into the world when it's wrong - i don't care that you think you're right, you're not. Im sorry.
The topic i'm trying to discuss - that not a single one of you wont to, is proving that your entire belief system that you think is corret 100% is obviously not.
And yet here you are argueing with me without even thinking that just maybe you're wrong.

People can follow what they want to, but isnt it better to gain perspective on something in full rather than just jumping in in blindness?

i mean i entered into this thread thinking that there might be something to debate about. instead the argument surmounted to ¨bible says you can eat rabbits, how ridiculous is that!¨
if you are going to ask me to question my beliefs, at least give me a good question.
