ahahaha

I found the video. Hillarious! It wasn't even a scheduled commercial break! It happened during the replay of Fitzgerald's touchdown. Oh man who ever is responsible for this just pulled off the biggest prank of their life, but is defintely getting fired.

Ohh... I know... they won't suffer any phycological damage.... I was just making a little joke.

But I sure as hell would feel a little awkward watching that video with my entire family. Grandma, Grand Pa, Mom and Dad... My aunt and Uncle... and all the young children included... (Just picture a very conservative family)

Here we are watching Arizona take the lead in the Super Bowl in the fourth quarter... Larry Fitzgerald scores a TD with 3 minutes left... We are cheering and screaming!!!... and then all of a sudden some random dude is on our Big Screen TV swinging his dingus around.... Uhhh... that would be a drastic change in everybody's mood...

That would be very awkward, and I don't think I'd be able to ever shake that from my memory.

LOL ---

Honestly this is tame. A local station in Florida had a disgruntled operator who locked himself in the control room and aired porn for 2 hours before they could get the transmitter shut off. Bet you never heard about that one... swept under the rug after a considerable fine.

That is HILARIOUS.. do you have a news link to that?

I will see if I can find anything on it. The Local affiliate in question was bought out by Raycom Media a number of years ago, so no website exists for the station as it once existed. I learned about it during a meeting with my chief engineer (who worked there at the time) while discussing our on-air protocols. He was the one who had to manually shut off the transmitter from off site.

The story about this "superbowl slipup" is definitely garnering alot more attention than I think comcast was expecting.

Watch ouT Comcast... large fine incoming.

honestly, i now find it funnier, that type of family needs a little more surprise in their lives, might make em less inclined to use tv as a baby sitter.

I don't know, I saw what they aired and it may have scared (scarred) a lot of young girls.

I guess we know where at least one WMD is.

Peace

Ha ha!

Just found it on Youtube. And uncensored!

I guess it won't be up too long though (excuse the pun).

Oh I love it when the universe does a funny

Oh, and I didn't see anything that would "mentally scar" a child. People who think that something like this would be dangerous to kids seriously need to get a grip on reality.

Probably will be highly newsworthy. But only because of context of our soceity. We don't condone it...

How many parents are up in arms when little 8-yo Mary walks in when the parents are watching 24 when Jack guns down a few guys? Or any of the 10,000 other shows similar to that.

It's pretty rediculous to know that kids under 10 see thousands of simulated murders on TV (including in cartoons) yet cannot see a human reproductive organ "live" unless it's their own.

I guess your right... I can just picture some guy like Sean Hannity or Bill Oreilly with his entire family getting a big surprise like that...

That does make it funny...

but still, I just know my family, and I would feel a little strange knowing that I just watched porn with them...

Anybody who says they wouldn't feel a little strange after watching this with their family has some issues.

I mean think about this... Really think about this...

Your family has been rooting for the Cardinals for 10 to 20 years... You've watched games together almost every Sunday... and finally the Cardinals rally back and take the lead with 3:00 minutes left in the game... In the Super Bowl

And what are you going to remember about that moment? The fact that you and your family got to celebrate a historical moment in sports... or uhhh... watching Big Willie swinging in the wind with your relatives.

I see his as another 'Distraction' from the other things that are important in our day.

As to the mistake, who knows, but we all know who ever is responsible will be delt with.

Could it be possible of some subliminal message? lol I kid... I kid

ZOMG.. I just watched the video .. hysterical right now.. "It's really lodged in there" .. "ya shake it out, air it out a little" .. lol .. I would have pissed myself laughing had I seen that on tv.

On another note. We kept making fun of Madden saying "penetrating" all night, and it just so happens, according to Madden, Fitzgerald really "penetrated the hole of Pittsburgh defense" at exactly the time the porn comes on. I sense a conspiracy.

Actually it probably will end up being somebody else getting sued and not Comcast because it didn't go through on the HD feed just the normal feed.

On top of that Comcast doesn't even control that feed, its brought in by cox cable networks.

Also people need to get over stuff like this. In the economy we live in I would never want somebody fired or sued over something like this.

I actually think any child viewing such a thing, especially showing a woman being treated as a sexual commodity is automatically scarred for life. This is really ugly and to me, a kind of pervasive twisted violence against women. I hope law suits follow!

It was not a local break. It was a network break (unintentional), which puts the ball in comcast's court at the end of the line.

The regular feed and the HD feed are fed seperately... that is the reason you did not see it on the HD feed. It still originated from comcast. Cox cable only leases the lines from comcast.

Same here, ( I am on the inside) including memos from comcast to all local affiliates using their lines. No it cannot be posted, at least not by me.

They have already issued statements to all affiliates of fines and actions taken against stations letting"indiscretions" hitting the air.

They are already covering their butts.

ahaha That's actually hilarrious because just as he was talking about how Fitzgerald penetrated the defense, he was drawing one of his trade mark X's and O's with lines all over the place and it ended up looking like a man's "package!"

At the time I thought wow that's going to end up on Youtube, Madden talking about penetrating defences and he's drawing that. You've put it all into context

Violence against women?! Are you kidding me? They were talking about doing violence to Even Stone if he couldn't get his thingie out of his pants! I mean, I know he's got long hair and all, but that doesn't make him a woman.
