The video provided with this article is very good. Keating's contention that "We’re all going to be in this until there’s a restructuring of world power." concerning China and the deficit countries. According to Keating, "It’s a catastrophe. It’s way worse than it appears."

This is VERY disturbing to me because it makes perfect sense. Another thought - I don't think we're headed for a North American currency but a World currency where a world bank run by a world group will control it.

They won't have to force us... we've put ourselves in this position. All they have to do is say "if you want us to to help you, you have to agree to x, y, and z".

This is proof that China need not start a military war in order to conquer the free world. They just need to sit back and wait a little while, until we come begging for their savings that they've amassed in the last 10 years.

I don't see China as a leader, particularly. Or America, Europe, or anyone elese. The OP's question is framed in the wrong way.
