Already suffering badly in the economic collapse, they closed their factory for 4 months today, but this is the last think the wanted -could this be the end of toyota?

It;s certainly going to pur anyone off buying a toyota any time soon, that can't be a good thing for their finances.

The other car companies aren;t doing much better either, i wonder which will be the first to go? the americans are out by mid year, the uk has already failed, i think germany will be the best places to survive, japans econy has collapsed -not looking good for the car.

Yep, I saw in the news here in Australia that my Yaris had been recalled, though I haven't received official notification yet from Toyota. At least their safety standards are very high and opt to correct their mistakes rather than hope they go unnoticed. Previously I had a Toyota Echo that was recalled for some issue, and they repaired it free of charge.

However when it comes to regular servicing, they'll absolutely rip you off.
