Hi - French is not a religion either, my question is about people who aren't religious using the words God or Dieu or Allah in their language at a time that seems more carnal than holy.

But I can see that this topic isn't going to be handled in the way a philosophical discussion should be held... sigh

I did read an interesting book (referenced in Da Vinci Code) that it's believed over a 1000 years ago, certain cultures believed that to enter a woman's body was like entering a temple of God... that may be where the vocabulary originated?
