Google Canada apperars to have been hijacked.

Whenever you go to search it will warn that this site is considered dangerous and may harm your PC.

I called around town and others have the same message.

Does anyone else get this in the USA and other parts of Canada?

I am in Saskatchewan.

It's down in the UK too so possibly some worldwide glitch ... or maybe there's something online they really don't want you to know.

Very unusual..a world wide effect on Google. But I suspect it might be some glitch with their databases between legit sites and the bad ones and is mixing it all up.

I just tried a basic search for NASA...got the same entry under each link.

Cheers!!!!

"#

Welcome to the White House
This site may harm your computer.
WhiteHouse.gov is the official web site for the White House and President Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States.
www.whitehouse.gov/ - Similar pages"

The George W search return is OK but Obama's isn't !!! How very odd.

Well before everyone freaks, you can still enter a url directly to any canada site and they still come up. Probably just a glitch in one of Google's servers. Bet it's fixed in an hour or two, maybe sooner.

It does the same thing through the ATS search since ATS uses Google.

Interesting how its all over the world. Im not going to click on anything in Google until that gets fixed.

Cheers!!!!

Has Google got ATS listed as a bad site because its only search referrals even from ATS internal Google search?

Yeah you can still get to the sites, just by copy and pasting the URL into your browser, so it seems it's just localized to something in Google it'self.

Doesn't seem malicious in nature to the individual, but seems to have locked Google up pretty good.

Hmmm do you think they messed up while targeting certain sites?

Im sure its just some glitch in Google's databases and got things a bit mixed up.

Or probably some newbie server tech employee at Google goofed up stuff.

Cheers!!!!
