North Korea tears up agreements

news.bbc.co.uk

Seoul expressed regret at the move, while the US called it "unhelpful".

As much as this may have been expected by some and is not too much of a surprise to others, I find it interesting that this is happening now with the current increase of global unrest about the financial situation.

North and South korea may very well be in such a good position that they see no intervention coming from outside sources and may very well be happy to blow each other up as they see fit.

Yeah, why not... prime opportunity.

Everyone else is too concerned with growing unrest, war in Israel and Afghanistan... and also the recent troubles in Pakistan..

A lot of cash and effort is focussed in other areas so it will be far easier to go ahead and do what you want to do with very little come-back.
