Hi,
Are you asking how to put uploaded pictures in your posts or is it for your avatar?

If I understand your question correctly:

Click MemCenter on the navigation bar.
Select Member Upload space on the left-hand menu.
Click browse and browse to the picture you want, and click open.
Then click upload. The upload of the picture will take a couple of seconds depending on the size of the file and your connection speed.
The resulting page will give you the URL of your uploaded picture.

You can also manage your uploads from the Upload Space.

Edit: Right=left.

In my post. I took some pics of strange contrails today, and wanted everyone to see them.

In the FAQ.

See also BBCode on the right-hand side - the grey area.

OK, this is the image hotlinking policy for the record.

Since they are your pictures the best thing is to click on the picture in the "memcenter" upload space, copy the url, and paste it in between [ ats] [ /ats] tags. But without using the space after the bracket.

I already uploaded them, now I want to put them on a post, and I haven't learned how to do that. Anyway, so I just put that image number in when I click the insert image correct?

That's it. When making a post, use this button to insert an image:

Simply give the full URL.

Thanks everyone, very much appreciated!
I know quite a bit about doing things on the puter for being 53, but as we get older it just doesn't click like it use to! LOL! Thanks Again

It must be difficult to adjust to new PCs when you grew up with the abacus...

Glad to be of service.

I've posted pictures by finding them in my desktop files, or from the web,
writing down the URL, and click on the globe to insert a Hyperlink, and typing in the URL.

I know, I know, I'm a little older too; but I grew up with one of those shiny, new Texas Instrument calculators. NOT an abacus!!!

If you are big on inserting images to support your posts... ie maps, tables, records of evidence... photobucket.com... is a great alternative when you don't have the points to spare...

unless you are providing image(s) for your avatar and tinwiki
then uploading directly to ATS is the proper procedure, from what i understand.
